We run and see another open door, we look inside and it's the same demon with our bodies under him, smiling and waving. "I can't do this," Brittany runs taking her hand away from mine. She runs down and turns a corner in the hallway. I run after her and turn the corner, it's a dead end. I start to breathe rapidly, I can feel the air getting thinner as it gets hard for me to breathe. I turn around to look towards the door, I see the hand of the demon emerge from the room, clenching the wall, pulling itself forward to peak its smiling face at me.

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

He smirked. I huffed out a laugh, but it didn’t reach my chest. “Both, probably. The demon has been restless again. I can feel him crawling under my skin, waiting for something—hell, I don’t even know what. It’s like I can’t keep him contained anymore.” Callan’s expression was weary. “Nicholai, for years we’ve always tried to keep your demon under lockdown. What if that’s not the right thing to do?” I looked at him completely confused. “What the hell are you talking about?”

“That’s AIDS! You’re harming someone’s life!” “I saw how your son disturbed others during the movie! He even stabbed someone with a needle! That’s really despicable, how could a child be this evil?”

Their eyes glowed with an otherworldly light, and their movements were swift, almost too fast to track. The air crackled with energy as the newcomers launched their attack. I forced my feet to move, to run. Fuck. He's going to be so mad at me. And I stabbed Samael. Double shit. We went inside another house which had an open door and I ran straight into a demon woman cooking. She yelled out in alarm but I hardly registered what happened. I kept running. I needed to get back to the castle. I needed to... Just needed to RUN. RIGHT NOW. But then we reached city limits and we had to run over the bare gravel path. Adrian would 100% see us.

I hope. Also, I’m slightly terrified for real. So many things could go wrong, from the demon refusing to leave Evander, making us go back to attempting another exorcism. It’ll be pissed then, and who knows what kind of damage it will purposely wreak on Evander’s body. And if it does leave Evander’s body and we—I need to stop. ’ She shakes our head, now in control of our wolf form as she tells me smugly, ‘Congratulations to you though, it’s your first shift’. I get giddy, nudging Runa to walk around more and flex this new form and she rolls her eyes and growls, getting into a guarded pose promptly. Runa whips our head upward and I gulp at the sight of the night sky, it’s gotten so dark in a such short time. But it seems her agitation is elsewhere as she informs me in a growling voice, ‘The Demon is coming, and super fast’.
