My chest tightened, and I choked on the air. I made a kid fatherless. I left a family broken.

Using all my strength I try to shove him away but he just won’t budge. “Amara, use the damn knife! Defend yourself!” Zale yells through the ear piece. I wanted to defend myself too. Take the knife out my thigh strap and hurt him so that I can run away but everything around me starts to blur. “NO, please!!!” I shout. His wicked laugh, his hands trying to roam all over my body, trying to touch me in every unpleasant way possible, made me numb. The similar panic attack from downstairs started to consume me. A series of screams and cries echoes through my ears. My cheeks moisten up with tears.

He looked at her, curious as to what she had to say. "I have something to tell you," Alma remarked as she moved closer to him. Virgin nodded and motioned for her to come along. Alma followed him into his office. "What is it?" Virgil asked as he sat in his chair. "Your strategy for defeating Blaze is remarkable. But don't underestimate him. Remember that he is known as the ruthless alpha. He has no mercy when it comes to executing his foes." Virgil smirked, his fingers intertwined. "This ruthless alpha will be defeated and killed this time."
