Evelyn's POV "I, Alpha Kyle Turner, reject you, Evelyn Sanders, as my mate." Alpha Kyle hoarse voice boomed in my ears making me freeze on my tracks, his voice laced with disgust. Crack! A cracking sound resounded inside my body and I felt as if a part of me was forcefully torn and taken away. My wolf howled in pain but there was nothing I could do about it. Tears flowed down my face as the pain became immeasurable, increasing with each second to the point I was unable to tolerate it. I could care less about the gazes on me. I was already used to it.

His eyes nearly fall off their sockets when he sees Alpha Reagan in his seat. “Ashanti. I leave you for five minutes and you invite the Lycan King to a club?” “Shut up, Ryan.” “Who's this?” Alpha Reagan asks, giving Ryan a very stern look. “None of your business.” I step down from the stool and look at Ryan. “Take me home.” My sweet younger brother ignores me and bows to the Lycan King seated before us. “My Lord, my name is Ryan Smith. Ashanti's stepbrother. It's an honor to finally meet you in person.” He introduces himself. Alpha Reagan looks at me and I roll my eyes so hard, they nearly get stuck at the back of my head.

Ryker looked between everyone that was gathered before continuing. “Sara and Leo will team up. Being the two of you are related, you both have a greater bond with each other. The same goes for Julian and Ryan.” He said then stopped talking again as he looked between the others. Ryan Drake, Julian’s twin brother.
