My two cents: skip the order debate and join a buddy read or online read-along for one of them. Pick the one the group is doing. Half the fun of Sager is the communal gasping and guessing. You'll get to see all the theories and reactions in real time. The social experience will make your first one memorable, regardless of which book it is.
