Ryker closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He is usually the most composed and controlled of the three of us. But he nearly lost his sister, Freya and Jane, a few years ago because of a traitor. So, when it comes to someone betraying their pack, he doesn’t have an ounce of mercy.

I let out a dry cough, trying to hide the pain in my eyes. “Hey, you, Leon Darkwood?” a thick voice called, snapping me out of my thoughts. I shifted my gaze, and it fell on a tall, fairly muscular guy with brown hair and eyes. “Yes, I am, and who are you?” I asked, my tone firm as I could tell from his uniform he was a student, meaning he was also an alpha, and it was time for me to begin my act. “I'm Ryker, Ryker Silver fang,” he said, with a smile that seemed almost deeming as he stared at me, “I'm sure you must have heard of me at least once.”

I gulp angrily a bottle of whiskey. "She rejected him Drake,his rescue was mere heroism" Ryker states. "How sure are you!" I fume. "The expression within their eyes Ryker,I observed it, they miss themselves,they crave their touch,they're freaking returned!" I smash the whiskey bottle. "Why not assign Chris watch Damien. They walked towards the group of Ryker that is made up of his friends. "Guys, I want you to meet Engineer Kenzo Vasquez and Yara Gomez." Ryker said to his friends. "Wow! The famous Engineer in town." One of Ryker's friend said and gave a handshake to Ken. "Hi, handsome!" One of the girls said. "I'm Maeghan, nice to meet you, can I call you Ken?" The girl said seductively while holding Kenzo's arms. Ryker smirked. "Maeghan, take good care of Engineer Vasquez. We still a have a project to do." Ryker said and looked at Yara. "Let's go, I will be your guide." Ryker continued and put his arms on Yara's shoulders.

Unless your mate is Brie…then it’s sealed.” Ryker didn’t respond, he just stared at his food while the sound of cutlery scrapping the plates filled the room. This was why he hated dinner with his family, the façade would break and his father would want to use him. “Do you have any Intel about their pack?” Dorian asked offhandedly. Ryker didn’t even care about Intel, he couldn’t be within a few meters of Caelan, talking more than listening to gossip about his pack.

Both of them tensed as a hunched figure emerged from the shadows, a man in his late forties with wire-rimmed glasses and an unkempt beard. His eyes darted wildly before settling on them. “You’re late,” Ryker muttered. “Do you have any idea how many people are looking for me?” Damien stepped forward. “Then you know why we’re here.” Ryker hesitated. “I wiped everything. There is no drive, no backups.”

Folding his arms underneath his bosom, he added, "I also heard about the fire which burnt down the entire building of the Meyers in Miami." Ryker rested on the doorway and shrugged, "I heard of it as well. How unfortunate. They might've wronged someone they shouldn't have." "What are you doing here, Ryker? I'm sure you didn't come to berate me like my daughter just did." Ryker revealed a small smile and walked towards Gabriel. He walked past the man and stopped in front of his desk where he poured himself a glass of bourbon. However, before the mouth of the glass touched his lips, he paused and glanced back at Gabriel.

If you're indeed worried about his whereabouts, you can report the case to the police,” the manager suggested. Ryker stormed out of the lobby, accompanied by Ryan who tried to keep up pace with him. “What do we do now?” Ryan asked, walking beside him in a haste.
