Although we did not have classes last Friday but the students were present for the closing programme. Nanalo nga raw ako sa poster making contest sabi ni Athelia, si Ena naman tini-text na ako para pumasok na sa Lunes.

F for the freshman, S for the sophomores, J for the juniors, and S for the seniors. You guys may be wondering by now which section I am in. I'm in class S-B, a.k.a Senior Class B. Not that smart, but smart at the same time I guess. I came to stop at our classroom door. It was close. Well, I'm not surprised. I'm 5 minutes late after all. But hey, it doesn't matter. Just think of the faces of my classmates once I barge in the room. They'll be shocked and at the same time awestruck.

I said folding my arms and clenching my jaw. We were currently sitting at the back of a classroom that would of usually been about the ascension. The teacher in charge out of the blue decided to have an emergency meeting, requiring all students to attend. Even the ones that didn't attend classes frequently. I was only here because my ascension was far closer than I had anticipated. And although I was 100% certain I knew more about it than this dimwitted teacher, there was always more to be learned. There was also my mother who wouldn't stop nagging me.

I'd found out Zara, Sage and I were in same class — the Golden Class — while Red, Shawty and Jace were in the diamond class. Apparently things worked in a certain way. Once I passed a certain exam exceptionally, I would be dimmed fit to be in the diamond class as well. That brings me to the question. How the hell is Jace in the diamond class if he was a nutjob who knew absolutely nothing? I found it confusing. "Oh, okay. See you later,"Sage pecked Zara's cheek and she smiled at us both before rushing off.

Mariselle started rambling on again, and my eyes drifted closed. Monday rolled by and it was time for me to head back to school. I felt better and refreshed. But by the time I walked past the school's gate, I remembered CJ and Ronin and groaned, throwing them at the back of my mind. We had an ecosystem management class, CJ's course. As usual, the air was charged with excitement because the hot lecturer was coming to teach. The girls were doing too much at this point and jealousy stabbed at my heart as if it was a crime for them to talk about CJ.

I took advantage of the opportunity to stroll to the one instructor with whom I could be myself while she spoke with the head principal. Knocking on his class door, he asks to be excused from his class; he isn't an older instructor, he is 22 years old, Camilo Vicente, and if I could claim I had a crush before and I didn't, you probably know why now. I offer him a hug in the corridor as we exit his class, and he returns the embrace as soon as he sees me.

Seeing my boyfriend, Brock Finch, arguing with the bus driver, I felt a surge of excitement. The next second, Brock glared at me and yelled angrily, "Cassie, you're so selfish! Nina's not here yet! Why can't we wait two more minutes?" All the classmates looked at me with angry expressions. "That's right, Nina's our classmate. How can we leave her?" "We won't get on the bus until Nina arrives!" Their hostile gazes pained me. In my previous life, afraid that continuing to wait would cause everyone to miss the exam, I told the bus driver to take everyone to the exam venue first.
