Sad Eyes Drawing Novels & Stories

I would wait till the end. It has been weeks since I have drawn someone's cartoon. Perhaps I only do it when I am sad and happy at the same time. This time, I want to draw a cartoon for Remo. The name alone brings calmness to me. I start from his head and then his round eyes.

Odell walked closer to her and asked, “What are you doing?” Sylvia chose to remain quiet. Odell approached her side and saw her scribbling a dark drawing. The entire drawing was dark, drawn only with different shades of black. The dark sky, the black forests, and the crows on the branches, the entire drawing screamed of depression. She was scribbling with charcoal, so her hands were also tainted black. Odell frowned and said in a heavy tone, “Stop drawing.” Sylvia ignored him and continued moving her charcoal across the canvas.

Sighing heavily, he continued drawing not wanting to divert his attention. Her cute egg-shaped eyes roamed around disturbing him to another level. Sanskar lifted his eyes from his drawing board and drifted it towards the side where the girl was standing. She was lost in the painting. Her priceless expression makes him giggle. She is indeed a cute bubbly girl and he is attracted for sure.

I ran a hand through my hair, gripping the back of my neck, angry, tired, and embarrassed. "Asher?" a small voice said. I looked up. Zaya. She stood at the edge of the porch, holding something in her tiny hands—a crayon drawing. Her eyes, large and filled with concern, studied me. “I drew this,” she whispered, holding it out. “It’s you. And mommy. And all of us. We’re smiling.” I took the paper gently. A lump rose in my throat. It was stick figures and crooked hearts, but it made my chest twist painfully.

Zach draped an arm over my shoulders and pulled me close to him before planting a kiss on my forehead "I'll walk you home" he murmured and I smiled "Let's go" * Six Hours Later * I was seated at my desk in my room at home with my sketchbook. I was sketching the face of the scary redhead I had dreamt about. I wasn't exactly a master at drawing but my art teacher in high school had often told me I was really good at drawing portraits and landscapes. I made sure to capture every detail about her face, starting from her ginger coloured hair, to her perfectly pointed nose, her light freckles and her plump lips. But most of all, those terrifying black eyes that looked demonic.

I’d hardly taken any notes today, in fact, but as I’d been thinking, I’d been drawing mindlessly, too. Scrawled on my page in smudged black biro was my own face. I’d barely registered drawing it. It was cartoony, with lips that were even bigger than my real ones, and doe eyes that were looking up at nothing. My lashes were long, casting spider-leg shadows down my cheeks. One side of my face was dark, and the other was shining in the light. I scribbled over it, forcing my pen so firmly into the paper that it began to tear. My vision became blurred as I dragged the pen through the notepad, and then I jumped when a hand was laid on my arm.

“This one is us on the swings. And this one is Daddy giving you a flower.” I glance at the crayon sketch. Logan’s stick figure is holding a red blob. My stick figure has yellow hair that looks like flames. Missy is in the middle, holding both their hands. She beams. “I want you to be happy again.” My chest twists. “Why do you think I’m not happy?” I ask quietly. She shrugs, swinging her legs. “’Cause you’re sad in the eyes. That’s what Daddy says when he thinks I’m not listening. He says you have sadness in your eyes.”

Master asks and I nod. "I'll be okay! We've painted the base colour so I can focus on the little animals," I say and Master sighs. "Okay but please sit on the chair," my dad says and I nod and roll my eyes. "I'll be okay!" My dad and Master start unpacking the huge flat box with the crib inside while I sit on my chair and organise my paints to paint a jungle mural on the wall. My first animal will be a tiger so I get orange to do my base colour.

She laid her head against me and I felt her calm down. “You see beautiful, I will keep you stable. I will keep you calm.” I told her and I kissed her lips once again. It was dark in the park and the only light that shined was the moon. Sadie stood up and looked at me. She smiled and then she turned around. She closed her eyes and all of a sudden. Butterflies came down to us from the trees. They flew all around us and even landed on me. It was a beautiful sight. I knew Sadie was doing this and I just couldn’t see how they thought that what she could do was scary or threatening in any way. She came and set back down next to me and smiled.

I tilted my head and bit my lower lip and look away. His face is full of different colors with different drawings. There's a big black circle around his eyes and if he closes his eyes you could see a another eye on it. I have drawn a hair at circles on his nose and something like a booger on it. I draw a middle finger on his cheeks and a drawl on his mouth. I even made his thick eyebrows thicker! However, he still looks handsome yet funny. My eyes widened when he stood up. "You are done? Then leave!" I gulped so hard and hide the nervousness I'm feeling.
