(sukoon pov) As I step into the room, a heavy sadness descends upon me like a suffocating blanket. The air feels thick and stagnant, as if it holds the weight of unshed tears and lingering despair. The once vibrant colours of the surroundings have faded, drained of their life and vitality. Shadows dance in the dimly lit space, casting elongated figures that mirror the desolation within.

S smiled at us. "Perfect! I will see you ladies tomorrow. Sally, bring old clothes or a coverall to wear. We tend to get messy in here" Mr. S said as he took the notepad and walked into his office with a wave. "Thank you!" Sally called. "Bye Mr. S" I yelled and I grabbed my stuff. I didn't bother taking my coveralls off. They didn't get too much oil on them and I was in a rush. POV Finn

Isaac said seductively, causing me to cringe. Hayden's shoulders shook with silent laughter, and I struggled to hold back my own laughter as I looked at him. He clicked the VideoChat icon in the corner but kept the camera turned off. Soon, Isaac's face appeared on the screen. A smirk appeared on Isaac's face as he switched to his back camera, aiming it at his exposed erection. He gave it a pump, groaning, while Hayden flipped over and buried his face in my chest, laughing quietly. Despite the awkwardness of the situation, I couldn't help but join in the laughter.

"You try being pregnant and then you can moan." "Sexism," Kal huffed and stared at his small portion of cheerios in his bowl. "You're ridiculous, you know that?" Kimberly said and Indianna laughed. "You should know that by now," Indianna said. "I'm not ridiculous, I'm just very passionate about cheerio consumption," Kal defended himself. "God, you're weird," Harry muttered and Brooke hit his shoulder. "He's special and we love him," Brooke corrected. "You're just miserable," Kal said to Harry. "And we don't love you, although maybe Brooke loves you a little bit, but that's all the love you get Mr Moody."

I felt a deep pang in my chest and closed the door before watching him drive off. I turned around and made my way into the lobby. Before walking through the door I turned my heard saw his black BMW round the corner. In that moment I realized that Jayce Adams had touched a part of me that no one had been able to reach until now. Was I capable of loving again? Right now all I felt was loss and regret and it felt like I was living my worst nightmare all over again.

He gave me a sad smile as he tucked a stray hair on my ear. “Well, I am already upset. What is there to lose?” I crossed my arms as if saying ‘I’m waiting.’ “Okay.” He said in defeat. “It’s about this morning's news.” He glanced briefly at my blank face before continuing. “It says that three men were ground to the bones inside the meat shop in Hill Street. And…and one of those three men was my friend, Caleb.” He finished panting, like the thought of his friend being dead is consuming the life out of him. My eyes widened in mocked shock and disbelief. What got my attention was the fact that he knows Caleb Salazar. But the question was, to what extent?
