Light & Darkness: Book 1

Light & Darkness: Book 1

She was like April sky, sunrise in her eyes Child of light, shining star, fire in her heart Brightest day, melting snow, breaking through the chill October and April He was like frozen sky in October night Darkest cloud, endless storm, raining from his heart Coldest moon, deepest blue, tearing down the spring October and April Like hate and love, worlds apart This fatal love was like poison Right from the start Like light and dark, worlds apart This fatal love was like poison Right from the start

The rogue heir’s redemption

The rogue heir’s redemption

She's a nice girl, even though I'm more likely to remember the entire makeup routine than her name. The will to leave the room evaporates from my body. Strolling around, I find a book in one of the drawers. It's old, and the cover has faded halfway. I know not to judge a book by its cover, but this book looks less appealing than a sandwich without filling. With nothing better to do, I decide to read it. It turns out to be a poetry anthology with different poems. Surprisingly, they're interesting. I read a few before dozing off.

Ashes of a Bloomed Heart

Ashes of a Bloomed Heart

I couldn't help but tear up. The room was filled with traces of our life together. Yet Vernon had booked a hotel room and slept with another woman for the night. Looking at the cake made me disgusted. All I wanted to do was throw up. I sat on the couch for a long time and lost track of time. Suddenly, the apartment door opened.

Late Blooms, Early Goodbyes

Late Blooms, Early Goodbyes

Even so, Madeline turned off her phone without replying and took a deep breath. She had already made up her mind. Since she was done with all of it, there was no use grieving over people who'd never been worth it. … The divorce wouldn't be official for another couple of weeks. So, Madeline and Sophie spent those days traveling through Calastra, visiting old cathedrals scattered across the countryside. The entire journey felt like a quiet baptism—one that penetrated from body to soul. Everything she had once held onto now felt insignificant. The trip changed everything. It brought a quiet sense of renewal that finally gave Madeline's restless heart some peace.

Sweet Situation: Escape from Love to You

Sweet Situation: Escape from Love to You

The books were mostly collections of poetry, with a powerful presence of works by William Shakespeare. “The Tempest,” she murmured, excitement evident in her voice. It brought back memories of her school days when she had wanted to borrow the book from the library, only to find it unavailable. She had never bought it herself, worrying about the burden of moving with too many belongings during her frequent relocations. Her fingers hovered over the spines of the books, dabbing them but refraining from pulling any off the shelf. “Let it go, Chom,” Ladapha sighed to herself, attempting to shake off her longing. She turned to leave but startled with a soft gasp, “Oh!”

Married To The Billionaire I Hate

Married To The Billionaire I Hate

"That one. That poem. Read it." I read it silently. It was about grief. About holding on to people through scents, songs, and random moments. I felt my chest tighten. "You like sad poems?" I asked. "Only when I don’t know what to say." We bought the book. … Lunch was hotdogs from a street vendor. "Seriously?" I said, staring at the cart. "Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it." He loaded it up with mustard and onions and handed it to me like it was gourmet.

Sweet Seduction

Sweet Seduction

She wantd to do so but as she imagined the dissappointed father look he would give her, she decided not to. "The libary it is then..." Arya mumbled to herself as she climbed up the stairs to the libary. She could already picture how she was going to sleep tonight. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: "I can't believe I actually joined you in doing this..." Kayla groaned as she dragged a black bag and stacked it on top of another black bag. "It's not that bad." Lucas laughed as he also helped her. "Not that bad? You do realise that we could go to jail if we're caught, right?" KAylahissed as she sat down on a rusty chair to rest.

When the World Burned

When the World Burned

She thought I'd be sobbing and desperate. She tried again. "What, nothing to say? I bet you're dying of jealousy. You always act so high and mighty, as if nothing gets to you. Well, even if you beg me now, I'm not taking you in. But… since we're sisters, I'll be generous. If you slap yourself and apologize properly, I might consider it." "No, thanks. I'm actually doing great." My voice dripped with sarcasm. "But tell me—how does it feel being drained by Snowviper?"

Jane Samuel
Hey guys, thank you much for reading but please there's a problem. I noticed there's always a repeated chapter and I've been trying to fix that. Right now Chapter 121 is repeated, I think? So in other to fix that I uploaded a current chapter to replace that very one.

It’s so refreshing seeing a book that the female lead doesn’t just simply back down but tries to stand her ground. I can’t wait to see how Selene handles everything, especially with Eliot and his annoying mistress

Vixen Stories

Vixen Stories

I groaned when water splashed on my body. We are at the house of my best friend, Linda, celebrating her birthday. Unlike any other people who celebrate their birthdays together with many of their colleagues, Linda wanted to do it with only me and her parents Lisa and David. Lisa has been a cripple for 6 months now. She got into an accident and unfortunately, that happened to her. David is upstairs taking care of his wife at the moment. “You know what. Every night I always dream for my mother’s fast recovery. Even though she tries to hide it, I could see in her eyes how much it affected her, not only physically but emotionally and morally.”
