Blazing Tail

Blazing Tail

She lifted something into the air with both hands. Brea sucked in a huge breath when she finally realized that Victoria held a baby high into the air, a bright blue blanket swathed the boy as he began to cry. The whole beautiful setting turned from a sparkling scene to a black ash color before her very eyes. Everything blurred and the once bright colors ran together, like a Rockwell painting gone wrong. She could hear a loud roaring, it sounded like that time when a tornado passed close to where she lived in town last year. Her body shook as her stomach heaved. This can’t be real! She leaned her head back and screamed, “NOOOO!”

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

This story always engulfs me and whisks me away to wonderland. Ragged footsteps and the sound of sloshing liquid pulls me out of the borrowed world. I look up to see a rough around the edges Aidan Gabriels. I also notice the liquid gold in his bottle. He must be out here to do the same thing I'm doing - Escape the world. I didn't realise I said anything until his eyes locked on mine. No turning back now.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

_ _ _ I’m screaming as my feet hit the ground in that strange other world, as I rip my elbow back in the way that Blaze taught me, catching my mate – my fucking mate – hard in the ribs. But he just laughs and lets me push him away. I stumble forward, hardly able to catch myself as I look frantically around at this horrible, dark world. My eyes flash up to the three moons above me for just an instant before I whirl, my canines extended, to snarl at my captor. Immediately, I try to throw myself back to my home world, to leave this horrible place. I beg, in my soul, for the world to turn again, to send me back as it did before.

I’m totally obsessed with this book! It’s so well written. The characters in this book are so deep and significantly different from one another. It gives this book the depth that most of the novels lack of. Furthermore, the story is interesting, adventurous, funny yet touching or even scary at times

I’ve read quite a few books on here, both completed and in progress, and this author is hands down the best author of them all so far. Her writing is intelligent and well thought out, her chapters vary in length for the story not for the app, and the plots & character arcs are just… fantastic. 11/10

Her eyes burned Golden Red. Like fire trapped inside ice. Blood covered her skin. The Not all of it hers. The ground beneath her cracked as power surged outward Water rose. Wind howled. Earth split. The elements bent. Obeyed. Answered her. Her vision shifted Kingdoms burned. Flames swallowed entire cities. Villages froze in place, encased in ice so thick it silenced every scream. Forests turned to ash. The sky itself seemed to tremble. And through it all

Torn Between Alphas

Torn Between Alphas

“Claim it. Claim us. And make the world kneel.” The hybrid’s eyes—violet and silver flames—bored into hers, waiting. Above them, the sky ruptured fully, silver fire cascading in rivers, devouring the forest, the battlefield, the stars themselves. Serena threw back her head and screamed, the sound breaking across the world like shattered glass. She made her choice. But as the fire swallowed the clearing whole, no one saw what it was.

Turns out the only thing worth trying to reach… was the heart she’d left burning in her wake. ............................................................................. On the morning the Wen Clan’s eastern wing burned, Wen Lihua, sixteen, lay trapped under a fallen pine beam. Her mourning robes—bright white, now streaked with ash and blood. She still had her hand out, reaching for her mother’s jade tablet. No one bothered to check if she was breathing.

Burning Embers: Scorching Tales of Desire

Burning Embers: Scorching Tales of Desire

Black magic surges, a void-like wave slamming into Kaelen. He freezes, eyes glazing, sword trembling in his grip. “Kaelen?” I call, heart lurching. He turns, stormy eyes blank, now glowing with an eerie purple haze. The novel’s pull, amplified by black magic. He roars, charging me, blade aimed for my heart. “No!” I dodge, rolling across jagged rocks, pain shooting through my ribs. Kaelen’s rampaging, sword slashing wildly, eyes unseeing but locked on me.

A Whole New World

A Whole New World

Pain suddenly exploded at the side of my head. I turned and saw Alex with a metal pole in his hands, and an evil grin on his face. My vision blurred. The ground rushed up to meet me. I saw Essence's face twisting into a scream as she reached for Asher again. Then the world began to tilt. Blood dripped past my eyes. I heard footsteps. I tried to move, but my head was pounding so hard. From the corner of my vision, I saw Alex, still bleeding, but taking her away.

No update I so was looking forward to the next chapter and Essence and her hot husband consummating their wedding vows and hopefully starting a real family of their own and taking her son from that cheating bastard ex of hers! She deserves real love!

I have to say Rosa, this is one of your best books, honestly. Reading it makes me happy and I have you to thank for that. This is an amazing piece and I can't wait for more chapters. Danny has won my heart🥹 I'm glad I stumbled upon this book, it's just so interesting and sweet to read.

The Rejected Blood Moon

The Rejected Blood Moon

Every heartbeat of the new world throbbed within her — the rhythm of creation, the slow exhale of life unfolding. > thrum… silence… thrum… thrum… silence… thrum… The Flow was steady, gentle. But beneath its peace, a new note stirred — a sharper sound, wild and bright, like the crackle of lightning in a storm that had not yet learned restraint. Lyra lifted her head. The air shimmered. Heat rippled through the horizon, turning the dawn sky into molten gold. Something was coming. --- The Spark From the heart of the horizon, a flare of red light erupted —

Frequently Asked Questions

Margaret Cavendish's 'The Blazing World' is this wild, imaginative ride that feels like a fever dream from the 17th century. It’s part utopian fantasy, part philosophical treatise, and part sci-fi adventure—way ahead of its time. The story follows a young woman kidnapped by a merchant and taken to a parallel universe accessed via the North Pole. This world is full of hybrid creatures like bear-men and bird-men, all serving an Empress who eventually makes the protagonist her companion. Cavendish uses this bizarre setting to explore power, gender, and knowledge, even inserting herself as a character advising the Empress. The whole thing reads like she tossed societal norms out the window and just went for it.

What’s fascinating is how personal it feels. Cavendish was a Duchess with no formal education, yet she wrote one of the earliest examples of what we’d now call feminist speculative fiction. The book’s second half shifts into a military invasion of our world, complete with submarines and fiery stones—totally bonkers for 1666. It’s less about plot coherence and more about her audacity to claim space in a male-dominated literary world. I love how unapologetically weird it is; it’s like watching someone build a sandcastle with no rules, just pure creativity.
