A relentless echo hammered in my mind, driving home the harsh truth of our situation: ‘Oh my god, my friend has died alone, ensnared in profound pain. I felt myself spiral away from my physical form, instinctively reaching for the flickering ember of hope, a faint light struggling to pierce the heavy fog of my sorrow. My heart thudded painfully, and I found myself whispering his name as if it were a broken mantra, each repetition dripping with despair. “Dae...seung.”

That was the letter that Yoel had written when he was 13 years old. "Mr. and Mrs. Allen left us suddenly, and I have to take good care of Felicity. I can't make her cry in sadness ever again." At the end of the letter was a sentence that was written recently. "I didn't expect to be the one who had hurt you the most. I'm sorry. I love you." Suddenly, someone passed me a tissue and asked, "Ma'am… Are you alright?" That was when I realized I was already crying nonstop, and the words on the letter had smudged. I would never love Yoel again, but I would never forget about him too.

One of the most painful things on earth is to lose a loved one. Whether in death or heartbreak. It's a pain different from all others. You feel every burn, every ache, your senses awaken, and greedily await a memory to sip in and then wreck your entire being. She took everything. His Light. His Heart. His Soul. It had no end. For years it went on like it would never end. But, it did. He ended it all.

Her heart seems to be breaking into pieces, making her feel numb. Midnight neighed, seeming to feel its owner's desolation. ****😳😢😳****

The questions swirled in my mind, fueling my despair. I rocked back and forth on my bed, cradling my head in my hands. My lamentations filled the room, a heartbreaking melody of sorrow and loss. "Mom, please come back," I whispered, my voice cracking. "I need you. I need you, Mom." But the silence was deafening. As night fell, my room plunged into darkness, mirroring the despair that had consumed me. I lay down, surrounded by shadows, and let the tears flow, my heart shattered into a million pieces.

I just kept running, blindly, desperately. I finally collapsed onto the ground, exhausted, my breath coming in ragged gasps. As I struggled to catch my breath, a jumble of emotions swirled inside me, but one feeling dominated: crushing sadness. "I can't believe he's the one," I whispered to myself, the words tasting bitter on my lips. The realization stung, and tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as the weight of my words sank in.

*EMILY* As I walked through the door of my apartment, a wave of overwhelming sadness crashed over me. The weight of my burden pressed heavily upon my shoulders, threatening to shatter the fragile facade of strength I had painstakingly constructed. Tears welled up in my eyes, blurring my vision as I stumbled towards the couch, my legs buckling beneath the weight of my sorrow.

Argh .... Andien punched the metal guardrail as she shouted angrily. "I hate you, Kenan. I hate you!" Andien screamed again while the sea water began to wet parts of her body as she chose to sit on the bridge that people said was called the bridge of love. It had only been 12 hours since Andien had received Kenan's sacred vows but Andien felt that she was already a widow. Andien tried to hold back her sobs as the tears continued to flow.

Knowing even though she is not awake, she is still using all her energy to try and save me, from this never-ending sorrow. Dark circles are all I see around me, looking into all these exhausted faces of the people I love and care most for in this hard world. Knowing I am the cause for all their suffering, makes my body feel over racked with pain and devastating sadness, making my stomach churn. Weeping inside everytime I look into their eyes, watching all the happiness slip away. I don't know how to help them or myself. Except to maybe leave my pack territory and go in search of the man my heart is longing for.
