Sad to Say Goodbye

Sad to Say Goodbye

He had never imagined such a disaster could happen in a deal he had spent a year negotiating. At that moment, Sandra dropped to a deep ninety-degree bow, tears streaming down her face as she pleaded loudly, "I'm sorry! This has nothing to do with Mr. Ulrich! Don't scold him! I failed to discipline my child. Please forgive me, give me a chance to make it right!" The partner, startled, barked back, "I'm talking to Grayson! Who are you? How dare you ask me for forgiveness?" Sandra's tears fell in a torrent. Her shoulders shook, her posture small and pitiful, looking both wronged and helpless.

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

I didn’t say anything that amusing. “You are million years young to care for me.” She said after she stopped herself. “There is no to feel sad,” I said again after a while. She raised her one eyebrow in amusement. “You and Moona and Reed. You have similar sadness. But you have different sadness than them. it’s like you are a cold spot in the room. I can shout at him or tease him and get a reaction that let me know that he is still there.” I sit straight now and look straight in her old eyes. “But your sadness is like icy well. Its bottomless and swallows up your voice and everything you try to drop into it.” I said and even I was surprised from myself.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

The Alpha Professor and His Mate

The Alpha Professor and His Mate

Kneeling beside his broken body, he let out a heart-wrenching sob as he kept pleading over and again, "I'm so sorry, I should have listened to you. I should have stayed behind. This is all my fault." Carrying his body back to the pack dwelling, Lucas felt the full force of his loss, the magnitude of the tragedy that had befallen his pack. His cries of anguish rang out into the desolate night, carried on the wind as a mournful lament. In that moment, he felt a profound sense of solitude, a devastating isolation that engulfed his very being. The world around him seemed dimmed, the colours muted, as if life had been drained from the world and everything looked grey.

My Husband Wants An Open Marriage

My Husband Wants An Open Marriage

The harshness of his tone shut me up. I swallowed, suddenly feeling bad. Maybe I was being too much. Everyone processes grief, differently. While I liked to talk about my late mother, he might not like talking about his father who had passed on. Maybe it might be too painful for him to talk about. “I’m sorry.” I apologized. He stared at me as he ran a hand through his hair. “I didn’t mean to talk to you like that, I’m sorry.” He apologized too. His tone softer now. But there was this pained look in his eyes that tore at me.

THE TYRANT'S CONTRACT BRIDE

THE TYRANT'S CONTRACT BRIDE

Her green eyes, so similar to Serena's and yet so fundamentally different, shone with a sadistic glee and profound, heart-wrenching sadness. "I know this day will come...this is what I've always wanted for her..." Sirona mumbled like a mantra. "But why...why do I feel this emptiness? This cavernous void of sadness and regret at her being gone, just as I desired for so long?" her voice wavered with a strange undercurrent of loss and agony at odds with her victorious words.

REVENGE KISS: FALLING FOR MY BAD BOY STEP BROTHER

REVENGE KISS: FALLING FOR MY BAD BOY STEP BROTHER

~SAFFRON~ The sincerity in his tone catches me completely off guard, leaving me breathless. Before I can find the words to respond, he looks back out at the rain, his expression tight. “It… hurts badly when you lose someone that has become a part of you. Like your chest phy-sically hurts,” he says, his voice dropping into a gravelly, pained tone that makes my chest twist. “You know I thought it was over for me when my mother died.”

The Goddess Vessel

The Goddess Vessel

His voice softened, almost as if he felt guilty asking. This one came slower. My mind slipped back to the night I lost my parents. Their lifeless eyes. The loneliness after. The years of pretending I wasn't hollow inside. My throat tightened, my vision blurred- -and rain began to fall. Soft at first, then stronger, drumming against the earth. The circle filled with the smell of wet soil and the cool touch of water. "Sadness flows," He said. "It nourishes or drowns, depending on how you wield it."

Wife's Second Chance

Wife's Second Chance

The noise around me seemed to disappear, leaving only sadness filling the space within me. “Is she still alive?” I asked, my lips feeling heavy. “Sorry, Mrs. Malisa, Miss Serena is no longer in this world,” replied the person examining Serena, displaying a gloomy and sad expression. It felt as if those words were a harsh slap that shattered all my hopes. I wanted to scream loudly, to shout that this was all a lie. The reality was too painful to accept, and I couldn't comprehend how all this could happen. Each heartbeat felt heavier, as if the world was collapsing around me. The sense of loss and sorrow enveloped me, leaving me feeling empty and powerless. All the memories with her spun in my

You're Mine, Ex-wife!

You're Mine, Ex-wife!

I muttered, the words heavy with sorrow and resignation, my gaze sweeping over the bloodstains that marred my clothes, a stark reminder of the tragedy that had unfolded before my eyes. "Sir, you need to take it easy, you need to take heart," the doctor's voice reached me through the fog of grief, his words a distant echo in the storm of emotions raging within me. I knew his intentions were kind, but loss bore down on me like an anchor, dragging me into the depths of despair. "It's easier said than done," I murmured to myself, the words heavy with the burden of sorrow that threatened to crush me under its weight. I found myself sinking to the floor, my back against the cold wall, a solitary f
