I ordered, and got into the car, slamming the door. "Have you been crying?" Tony asked, as my eyes were probably red from crying. "No, I'm –" I could complete my sentence, as my emotions overwhelmed me, and I burst out crying. "Hey, T. What's wrong?" Tony asked, worry laced in his voice. "Is something wrong with your pup?" At the mention of the word pup, the sadness overtook me, and I could no longer take it anymore, as I wailed in a flood of uncontrollable tears.

He felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness and sorrow, knowing he was unable to ease the pain of those around him. As April’s gentle breathing filled the room, Aiden’s tears continued to flow. The weight of the world seemed to rest on his shoulders, and the deep sadness of the day’s revelations was a burden he struggled to bear alone. While I wrestled to put together an answer, the words were suspended in the silence above us. "And well, I considered your silence to be a no," he continued, and sadness painted his words. Thing was unhappy on his face-like mask. Sadness clouded up his eyes. The hurt in his tone went deep; present in every word was a live palpable thing, pulsating with its own agony.
