The Secretly Rich Man

replied Gerald in a casual tone. “I see… I go by Futaba Fujiko, and I’m part of Japan’s special forces. I’m here to participate in a special forces competition. Unfortunately, I somehow ended up getting sneak attacked by enemies of my family. Had you not stepped in, I would’ve surely died back there…” explained Fujiko as she shook her head.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

One Night With The Kingpin CEO

One Night With The Kingpin CEO

Underneath the swords, at the base of my spine are the numbers 8-9-3 with the corresponding Japanese characters below each digit, representing my position as a member of the Golden Chrysanthemums, a yakuza syndicate based in Yokohama. Rotating my shoulders, I stretch my arms over my head before I enter the main workout space. In the center of the room is a large tarp. On that tarp is a man, tied down with coarse ropes, his mouth gagged. As soon as he sees me, he wets himself and I grin down at him like the apex predator that I am. The man-child begins to whimper. “Enjoy, Boss,” Roger salutes, heading out to take care of other business. He’ll be back in a couple of hours, once I’ve taught thi

Others with thinly veiled resentment. I didn’t care either way. I adjusted my cufflinks, the crisp linen of my tailored suit a stark contrast to the filth of this place. I wasn’t here to blend in. I was here to hunt. And my prey sat right in front of me. Takeshi Sato. He was a Yakuza associate. Greedy, sloppy and weak. The bastard was drowning in liquor, his arm draped around a half-dressed woman who laughed at something he said, even though the light in her eyes was long gone. He hadn’t noticed me yet.

once again Nishi almost rolls her eyes back of her then squeezes her eyes shut pressing her forehead with the tip of her finger. “Please try to recall it? It would be good and will help to find your friend faster.” officer Yamaga said “Oh I remember its Ryuu, Yuki Ryuu senpai” ** “Yuki Ryuu” Takeshi glares at the blond-haired tied in front of him with the tattoo all over his arms along with the one which is upon his chest. “Good name you got there I didnt know you were some rich fund kid, or I would have killed you right at the spot. Rather than going through all this process from kidnapping you that night and bringing you here” Takeshi rolls his eyes cracking his knuckles one after the othe

The Mafia King’s Favorite sin

He said it firmly, still locking eyes with me like he was issuing a direct challenge. I didn’t flinch. I simply watched him patiently, letting the silence stretch. My fingers drummed lightly on the arm of my chair as I took in the faces around the table, each one a king in his own bloody empire, each one hungry for more power. Kenji Sato, the leader of the Yakuza clan, sat quietly, his dark eyes observing everything without a word yet. Patrick O’Connell, the Irish mob boss, lounged back with a half-smirk, twirling a glass of water between his fingers as if this were all some grand entertainment. “It’s obvious the city has become unstable due to the constant retaliation, and everyone’s losing

As the buzz-cut man shifted his coat, the matte flank of a compact SMG flashed. “YK8,” Jake murmured. “Top-of-the-line. Lightweight. Fast. These guys are hunting something.” The bathroom door banged. A skinny man in office blues stumbled out—face pale, eyes wrong, body wired tight. The bald operator stood in one fluid motion. “EVERYONE DOWN!” he roared, swinging the YK8 up. The skinny man twitched, throat rumbling into something inhuman. Jake shoved Kim and Jane under the table. “Down—now!”

Bratva Wolves Collection

Bratva Wolves Collection

Andreas introduces me, and this is where they turn around. The Eastern scents now made sense to me; they’re Japanese. The older male steps forward; he looks perfectly polished in an expensive suit, but I can sense a danger about him even as he tries to hide his tattoos: the slicked-back salt and pepper hair, the scars on the side of his face and knuckles. This man is Yakuza; I can tell by the way he tries to shoulder the weapons strapped to him. “Fenriz Vega, it is a pleasure to meet you finally.” He says in perfect English with a faint Kanto accent and steps forward with his arm outstretched. “Tsukishima Kaen.”

Love all of this series. I can’t put the books down. I want more of Kaia’s story and Kon’s too. Definitely a great read. If I could put 10 stars I would. I’m really picky about ebooks and what I read but this whole series has kept me interested and captivated since I read the first few paragraphs.

I love that the Bratva's storyline is not predictable, makes sense and the caracters act more mature and are not so on the cringy, immature, annoying side (although Lily was pushing it at times) just saying.
