Hell, her great grandparents are still alive. Sally’s mum went so far as to replace her black Labrador, so she didn’t experience death. The only reason why Sally knows it is because one day, her black lab no longer came to her when she called him.

I tried lifting up, but Aaron didn't let me. He moved the pillows onto the backboard of the bed and helped me lean against it.

“I believe Mom has told you the reasons.” “Don’t give me that bullsh*t. She has been pursuing you for years yet you showed no signs of reciprocating her feelings! And now you’re telling me that you suddenly have a change of heart?!” Sally widened her eyes in agitation and went straight to the point, “She’s not Britney Thomas, is she?” Peter looked at her indifferently. “If she’s not Britney Thomas, then who would she be?” Sally clenched her teeth and spat out the name. “Esme Manning!”
