She was still surprised over how smooth face his face was because she had already gotten used to the rumors about his scar. “Are you disappointed that I don't have a scar on my face?” Dalton asked. He must have seen something on her face, that was why he asked. “I don't know,” she said truthfully, “I have gotten used to the rumors and have already braced myself for whatever scar would be on your face when I first asked about it.
