Sally Fear that mirrors my own passes over Ryan’s face, and I hear him inhale. There is so much pain behind that sound, so much emotion in his eyes that it breaks me further. “You’re not dying, are you?” he asks in a low voice, scanning my face as though I’ve suddenly developed a deadly disease. It makes my smile grow. “No, I’m not dying,” I whisper, touching his pretty face. It’s a painful realization that it won’t change for years while my face will. I will growl old. I will develop wrinkles. I will die.

Kayla's facial expression suddenly changed when she heard what Sally said. “I think I understand how it feels like even before you did.” Sally placed her hand on her head when she realized that what she had just said was like bringing back an old injury that Kayla is trying to forget. “I'm so sorry.” Sally apologizes immediately, trying not to offend Kayla by her words.

“look at her face, Mira. Her right cheek. What do you see?” My eyes narrow as I zero in on her left cheek. “I don’t see…” then I actually see it and the words get stuck in my throat. It’s so tiny that if you do not look closely enough, you might miss it by a long shot. “You see it, don’t you?” Vanessa prods. “Yes.” I whisper. “I see it.” Stunned, I finally realise why Hayley looks so different. She’s putting on almost three layers of very thick make-up. But most of the makeup on her right cheek is gradually wearing off, revealing something that resembles the beginning of a very large scar.

Zach, donning an intimidating demeanor, responded with a brief sound of acknowledgment. "Did the both of you…" Oliver asked timidly as he tailed behind his father. "Meet Nate and Suzanne?" Zach sat on the sofa. His face darkened as he watched Sally cozy up to her grandmother. "We did. If Sally didn't tell me she got her face done, I'd think Suzanne was my granddaughter instead." He replied in an unhurried manner. Stunned by his words, Sally's face paled, and she shot him a nervous look. She abruptly met his horrifying gaze and looked away sheepishly. She then replied with a laugh, "It's plastic surgery. She got it specifically done in order to marry Nate."

With a cold and hidden smile curved on her lips, she threw a thundering slap on Sally's face. "Again!" Sally ordered. She did it over and over again, until Sally's face was covered with bruises. "Now they will see!" Sally stared viciously at an open space. With her bruised face, she went home crying to her parents. "I was having fun at the party last night, when Caro and some bunch of crazy lowlife girls punched down on me and bruised my face" she explained to her parents forcing out tears to attract sympathy, specifically from her mother. "Look at my baby's face!" Sally's mom cursed whosoever it was that did such cruel thing to her only child.

Why did she need to inject steroids… Besides, she had done the treatment two years ago. She would not have waited for three years to pass if she were treating the wound she had gotten five years ago. The man frowned and glanced at her right hand, which was holding the pen. The skin on her right hand was pale and smooth, but you could clearly see a scar where the knife had punctured her hand. “Your hand… is it alright?” Sally’s grip on her pen faltered. The next second, she laughed embarrassedly and pulled her sleeve over the scar. “It’s alright. Fully recovered now.”

IVY’S POV “It is a scar,” I say and filch my head. she wasn't so surprised but then the next thing surprised me. Rather than flinching, she places her hand softly on my cheeks and gently caresses my scar. I look at her by the side of my eyes and break a sigh as her thumb touches the edge of the left side of my face where the scar is predominant. “I know how much it hurts.” She breezes after a few seconds of touching gently.

Sally yelled “But you led me on, you kissed me twice, I thought you were starting to like me, why did you led me on?” He asked “I kissed you because my mind was exhausted, I thought you were Robert!” She yelled. Lucas started laughing and I knew Sally had made him really mad, I could see it written all over his face “You thought it was Robert?, do you think am Robert right now?” He asked as he moved closer to her until the only visible thing on the screen was his neck, he purposely kissed Sally but yelled out in pain

I told him sternly. "What?! But—" He tried to protest, but I cut him off. "You need to find information about a girl with a face tattoo." "Girl with a what? Where did you hear that?" I heard Axhton groaned, staring at his phone as Raynel whined. "From the Rose Gang." "Is that why you ripped their leader's head off?" Raynel inquired drastically changed from being a jerk to a serious face. It feels like he’s a complete different person. But it will only be for a moment before he reverts back to his old playboy self.

I woke up when I felt someone touch my cheek. When I opened my eyes I saw Jack smiling in front of me. I couldn’t help but smile and lean over him. "Good morning, Tatiana," he said and caressed my burned face. I turned my face away from him and smiled a little. "I'm sorry, Jack. I... I'm not comfortable when someone is touching my face..." I explained. He just smiled at me. "I know. Anyway, get ready, okay? It's your surgery today," he reminded. I nodded and get up from my bed. I sighed when I entered my bathroom. I'm not really comfortable around Jack, and I don't know why.
