Sally was surprised to see her, her eyes rolling from up then down to her body as she saw the patient uniform she was wearing. “Why were you shouting my name like that earlier, huh? Do you wanna die? What gave you the right to scream my name like that?!” Sally was now yelling back at Scarlet, walking closer to her. But unknown to Sally, going closer to Scarlet was the greatest mistake she made because as soon as she was close enough, Scarlet slapped her face dirtily. “What! I did not need to pass through my room’s waiting area in order to enter my queen’s room. I sat on the edge of my large bed for a while before I stood up and slowly walked in front of the full-length mirror. I gazed at the woman who stood I front of the mirror, with her face covered by an ivory mask. From the time I declared myself as the new Queen, no one has ever seen my face since then. I looked at my amber eyes in the mirror, eyes that could allure any man I wanted. "Can I help you?" When the man said nothing, she rolled her eyes and tried to pretend she was totally not getting freaked out by his beady, unwavering eyes. As Melody gathered everything, she placed the two full metal baskets on the counter and waited for the absent cashier. Unbeknownst to her, the middle-aged man had silently approached her. The footsteps as quiet as the smallest whisper. Startled by his sudden appearance, Melody took a step back and gulped audibly. "Run away!" The man hissed through his gritted yellow stained teeth, his feral expression and wild hair gave him a look of lunacy.

The other woman's face was split with the biggest smile, but Hunter couldn't bring himself to spare her a glance. Sally was a vision, a simple white lace dress clung to her thin figure, falling to her bare ankles. She left her hair loose, the curls tighter then their usual 'fly away' brush and someone had threaded flowers amongst them. Her eyes were forever the brightest of greens now, and they sparkled as she looked to them. A light blush tinted her cheeks and Hunter could practically see her pulse racing. She was as nervous as Celeste, but her joy glowed from her. She paused before them, and hugged Yuki a little tighter before she joined the clan, letting Tyler wrap her in a hug.

She pointed at a long stool at the other side of the room. I nodded once, then moved over to the seat. A few minutes later, Sally walks up to the reception desk. She pulled off her medical mask and gloves. “I’m here. Who were you referring to as Mark that wanted to see me?” The receptionist pointed at me. Sally and I came face to face, eyes locked. I waved at her and pleaded for an audience. She ignored me and turned around. I ran over to the desk. “Sally please! I’m sorry, please hear me out.”

“It’s just a harmless video, Lia. No need to overreact.” Lia’s back stills for a beat before she whips around and lock gaze with Sally. The trembling in her subsides, but the spite in her eyes is still heavy. “Harmless?” Lia repeats. She takes a step closer to Sally and I watch as the mask of confidence on Sally’s face falters. “You think it’s harmless to humiliate me in front of everyone?” Her anger and pain are palpable through her voice and it stirs something deep inside of me. There are uncivil ways to deal with these people, but I recognize it isn’t what Lia will want so I watch her from the sidelines.

She told him as she headed towards their room. "And I we would be getting rid of this mask as well." Edward blurted out and Andrea paused in her steps. "What do you mean exactly?" She didn't believe what her husband had just said. Wasn't he hiding his face from the world? Hasn't he always worn a mask? Why does he want to suddenly pull it off? Is it because of me? Won't be be in danger or something? Andrea put off changing out of her office clothes and went back to the kitchen.

I say and cross my fingers as discreetly as I could behind my back while giving him an innocent smile, he shoots me a suspicious glare but takes my word for it. Thankfully his phone diverts his attention and I turn, looking out of the window. I stare at the streets with a blank expression before leaning forward a bit to see down the road, and further ahead I spot a billboard. I gasp in surprise when two familiar pairs of emeralds stare back at me. Technically, my eyes are closed in this picture but that’s not the point. The point... is that on this billboard is a commercial picture of me as the Masked Queen. I didn’t know the last advertisement I did in New York was for a Korean company!
