Salt King Novels & Stories

At the base of the gate, a figure was waiting. He was massive, his skin the color of aged bronze, his hair a mane of silver and iron. He didn't wear armor; he wore a cloak of human hair, and in his hand, he carried a massive, jagged sword made of pure salt-crystal. Kaelen froze. The obsidian blade in his hand trembled. “Father?” Kaelen whispered, his voice a broken, hollow sound. The figure at the gate lifted its head. Its eyes were not blue or black. They were a flat, dead grey—the eyes of a Salt-Walker, but with a lucidity that was terrifying.

The word Master Trinity who returned went on to mention the thirteen Kings of the third world. "Then the second is Dagon who is from the Jan or Demon clan too. He has the body of a giant squid like the Kraken who is called the destroyer and his kingdom is at the bottom of the ocean. Then next the third is Belphegor who comes from the Jan or Demon also like Coyote and Dagon." Said the Trinity Master who returned to continue

Beta Salvo said chuckling. Alpha Pharoah Kingtin gave him an annoyed look. “Don’t mention that again. I don’t want anybody to hear it, much more that, Fiel Davidal. He should not know his real identity!” Beta Salvo bowed his head, not wanting to see the annoyance clearly written on the Alpha Pharoah’s face. “Apology, my Alpha Pharoah. I will not mention it again,” he solemnly said thereafter.

I asked the servant who was told to accompany me. “Oh, he is King Jackob Arkhan, Princess. It could be said that King Jackob Arkhan is the second strongest king in the world after King Alden and King Aldan. His land holdings became the most extensive, with wealth and captive packs even stretching from all corners of the world. So he was feared by the other Alpha Kings, and was known as the cold-blooded Alpha King.” Immediately the hairs on the back of my neck tingled completely when I heard that, Cold-blooded King was a truly terrifying term. I can imagine how many werewolf lives he had destroyed.

“I mean, how often do we get to watch some cocky asshole get his ego checked by our team?” I typed back: “I'll be there.” “Good. Because I need you on my line. We're going to destroy this guy.” I set the phone down and closed my eyes. The rejection mark burned between my shoulder blades. Just a game. Nothing was going to happen. My phone buzzed again. “Oh by the way, his name is Kai Volkov. The Ice King himself.” I frowned and picked it up. Another text came through before I could respond. "He's supposed to be brutal on the ice. And get this—rumor is he hates Silvercrest Pack. Like, HATES them. They say Silvercrest wolves killed someone he loved years ago and he's been hunting them ever sinc

This is perfect. “Are all Packs like this? If so then I want to see them,” I murmur, standing against the railing, feeling the soft sea breeze brush against my face. A beach, coloured bright white and yellow stretches down both sides of the house. This Pack seems abnormally large. I can’t help but wonder how the Alpha manages this all. Kael comes up behind me, leaning up against me, hands on the railing in front of me. “This one is the only coastal Pack. The rest of coastal land is owned by Immortals. This Pack is special in its own.”

He's looking directly at me for one short second before turning to Millie when she starts talking again. Instead of the usual casual wear of jeans and t-shirt that I normally see him don, or if we were to be honest nowadays I see him more in his underwear or the lack of it, well, today he definitely looked different in that charcoal grey suit, radiating the aura of a leader. So his name is Luca? L.L.S. Luca Sinclair. He's not a millionaire as I imagined before? He actually works? Not inherit money or has a trust fund, coming from a wealthy, influenced family?

RUBY. “What's going on here?” I turned to see the most handsome man I had ever laid eyes on enter the hall. Dressed in a gray shirt and black pants, his short blond hair was slicked back, accentuating his striking aquamarine eyes. His presence exuded power, and without a word spoken, I knew exactly who he was: Kael, Alpha Frederick's only son. I had seen numerous pictures of him, but his physical presence was far more captivating than I had ever imagined. Kael had been away from home for four years, dedicated to learning and studying how to lead a pack.

“Do you really think he’ll kill me?” I’d heard as much, especially as the servants gossiped in the castle since I’d been promised as a bride to the Sea-King Alpha. Some say he is hideous and smells of raw sewage mixed with brine. Others say he is the most beautiful man in the world, with a physique so powerful no mortal man could ever best him. But all of them say he’s a beast, a cold-hearted murderer that my father must appease, or our people will no longer be allowed to harvest the ocean’s bounty.

A smirk visible on his lip, "You are quite cranky , that isn't fitting for a lady" He glanced down at the gold watch hidden under the sleeve of his turd. "The Silone should have rared off by now we have so much to talk about Melissa Valsher, the Alpha female or should I say Alpha king" 'This moron thinks am the Alpha king? Is he daft to the prophecy out there?'
