Salt King Novels & Stories

Eli whispered under his breath. One of the strangers laughed softly, as if amused. “So fast,” he said. “As expected of the Alpha King.” Eli’s head snapped toward Kieran at that word again. Alpha King. That title didn’t make sense to him, but the way those men said it—like it meant something powerful, something feared—made his stomach tighten. Kieran didn’t respond. His posture had changed completely. Gone was the calm, unreadable expression from before. Now there was something sharper.

I was a very big fool. "Thank God you know." He beamed in satisfaction. The man's name, or at least, the name he was being hailed with as he came towards the dark, damp room that was my current prison, was Salt. At that point, I'd vaguely remembered a particular sermon about humans being the salt of the earth and even though I had also came across the one where we were ordered not to judge our fellow human being, I did not see that man's appearance living up to the sermon, or his title.

I had gotten the werewolf gene from my mother. I was an outcast in my original pack(the MoonShine Pack)for having a Werewolf gene, and I was told I couldn't take the Lycan king's throne as only true and pure blood lycan could rule over other Lycans. My father, King Nathanial, was the last Lycan king and Alpha of the MoonShine Pack, and he had gotten the title by merit. He was the son of the MoonShine Pack Alpha and Luna, and both were pure-blood lycan.

He smirked and took a bite out of his sandwich. It was useful information but there was two questions that was just swirling around in my mind. “Just who are you and how the hell do you know all of this? “Names Cain, Adam and Eves first son. Also known as the first murderer.” The. He lifted up his shirt on his side leading up to his neck was the red markings that looked a bit like mine but different “I’ve been soul bonded with Lilith for how long, man I dont even remember. It was like around the time of my eternal damnation, that’s what they call it. But I call it a blessing, dont worry I already know who you are. I carried your naked ass in here when you were unconscious.” He gave me a frow

She says sternly. I swallow hard, clamming my hands as I try to process the news. Alpha King Sven is the Alpha king of the kingdom of Māui, a powerful hybrid — a werewolf and Lycan mix. His name is enough to instill fear even to his own people. He’s also known for being ruthless, especially to anyone that isn’t a werewolf or a Lycan. He’s notorious for his hatred towards Fae and any magical beings like elves, and he was the one who led the war that led to the fall of Eris wall at the age of thirteen.

I said. “That doesn’t make me feel any better,” she said. “Levi’s not the one I’m worried about, my brother is,” I said to her. “It gets worse.” She sighed. “Kai’s royalty, he was the king of Scotland before Gabriel took over. His eldest son, Jericho, is the Alpha King of all wolves. They’re both married to the women they imprinted on,” I said to her. “Imprinted? What’s that?” she asked.

"Oh my! ..is she Levi's mate?... She looks.. well...better than I imagined" "Don't let Skylar hear you. Everyone knows he is Skylar's mate but he never claimed her" ''We don't know why the Alpha king brought her here. No one saw Alpha King Levilah claim her'' "No. I heard she was a maid in Cresentvale. But she is the definition of perfection. She's so pretty'' ''Pretty you say....I am truly disappointed. I thought Levilah had a standard taste for women" One of them laughed "We cannot say for sure if she's his mate or not"

And for a moment, everyone went quiet. I turned just as the doors opened again. Dominic Salvatore entered first. Alpha. Commanding. Unmistakable. At his side walked Aria Salvatore, his Luna, his wife, and lover… she was also the mother of his child. Her head was held high, her presence effortless, as if she had always belonged at his side. Whispers followed them, some admiring, some resentful. Luna Isobel’s lips thinned. “The woman who was sold as a slave,” she muttered coolly, “now standing as Head Luna. A slave who became the Alpha’s wife.”

He smiled at Blake, whose sound body was too weak even to receive one of his hits, much less a slap. “Good, then let us begin.” “Stop! Do you think I am mere air to you? That you want to fight with my man in front of me?” Dynasty yelled out, nervous seeing that this was getting out of hand. Who was Big Sal? He was the most honored person in the Syndicate, who never lost a fight. Her father would have to consider significantly before battling him. Even though she had heard many tales of how their savior was great in combat, she had doubts.

He chuckles to himself. “The fucking king thinks you’re a goddamn thief?” Salavanta shares the laugh. Gardax smiles and speaks in his usual tone. “Aye. Nothing more than the common criminal. What about you Red? What have you done to come to this accursed place?” Both captain’s hands propel out and she stretches her fingers. Those eyes dance along her open palm like she is studying the lines and cracks within her flesh. Soon enough, she answers the question at hand, but her voice is more somber than before. “I have been searching for an item. One that can bring my mother back to life. I have something to ask her.” Gardax’s knuckles begin to tap upon the steel bars. Each of the bone taping in
