Apart from that he is the son of the King of the vampires, Damon is the most arrogant, ruthless, and self-centered vampire I have ever known. Those vampires who are not well aware of his attitude being the worst will basically end up giving up their own lives. But the four of us are already accustomed to his treat and tricks. And I was patiently waiting to come back so I could hug her again. Just then, I heard as if someone was yelling. I stood up from the couch I was sitting on and quickly went out of my study room. As I went downstairs, I found Salvador crying crazily. I did not know what made him cry like this. A few more vamps were crying with him. I went to him and turned him towards me. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" I asked him in a confused tone. Seeing my face, he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. I did not know but it felt like something was very wrong.

“And if anyone wants to challenge it, speak now.” The room was quiet. No one said a word. Salvatore turned to face the altar. He took a small dagger from the table beside it and cut his palm. Blood dripped slowly into a silver bowl. “Come,” he said. Damon stepped forward and did the same. He cut his palm and let his blood mix with Salvatore’s. “This is the bond,” Salvatore said. “You are now my beta.” Everyone clapped. Some people even cheered. Damon looked like he might cry. He bowed low in front of Salvatore.

“Third, the Salvi. Salvi can cast spells. They are like witches but they have a different language that only Salvi can understand, even witches can't understand their words. You can only tell if a vampire is a Salvi if their eyes are red-orange. They are the third strongest of the entire vampire clan. And they can hold the cross unlike us who are burned," Red-orange? I seem to have seen red-orange eyes. Aha! Brian! I saw his eyes turn red-orange for a moment. But, maybe he's not a vampire, right? He's just human like me. It's impossible that he's a vampire because I know he doesn't believe in vampires.
