His face went red with rage as he threw a swift, powerful punch at Max’s jaw. Max stumbled back, his smirk replaced by shock as he touched his bleeding lip.

Miriam, who had began going to his church asked. “These rains are now deadly, people have to be careful.” Ken said. The way he put it so casually made me shudder. She’s a regular here. I’m just surprised to see her again after you promised me last month would be the last time.” Maxwell sighed, the weight of exhaustion settling on his shoulders. He’d lost count of how many times Samantha had landed herself in trouble during her side job. Repeatedly, he’d been the one to bail her out. The officer and Maxwell knew the routine—Samantha would face consequences if formally reported, so Maxwell always used his influence to keep things under wraps.

This time not as quickly, since he has a rather unfortunate predicament in his jeans at the moment that hinders his escape. As he makes his way into the office, he finds Samuel sitting behind the desk with his feet propped up on the counter and a machanics magazine in his hands. Sammy is going to school to be a mechanics and they guy lives and breathes vehicles. He works midnights at the motel to support himself, his young girlfriend and their newborn baby.

Max in a cold voice. Mr. Max stood unfazed outside his car as he watched the second man take out his phone and contact someone. A few minutes later, Simon emerged from the house and looked at Mr. Max as he walked up to meet him outside the gate. "How can I help you, sir?" Simon asked, pretending not to know who Mr. Max was. "Where is my daughter, Samantha? You and your boss are holding my daughter. Kindly return her to me unless you want problems," Mr. Max said, and Simon looked over at the two bodyguards that had accompanied Mr. Max.

Sam had noticed that a long time ago, but didnt want to crush his father's spirit about the lady he liked. “I have her in my car...” Sam pointed out his car as they made their way to it. “Is she pregnant, did she rob or kill someone?” the chief concluded, not giving his son the chance to continue. “Those two!” Max murmured to herself as she realized who was coming her way. “Wait! Seth! What...Shit! no, no, no. they can’t find me here” She hurried and took her bag and left in a rush. “Max! Max!” Sam shouted as he realised she was running.
