Damen teases, and Sam reacts with a playful hiss. “Let’s go get the little man and have breakfast,” Max says while standing up. Sam’s blood helps me heal quickly, but otherwise, I seem to be immune to it taking over me completely; strange.

Sawyer says getting up and offering me his hand to help me out. He helps me get up and lays down on the bed where I previously was and opens his arms inviting me to lay on top of him. I lay down on his chest and he hugs me. “What are our plans for today?” Sam asks us. “I don’t know, I want to go back home but I’m worried about Maxwell.” I tell them. “He did something to himself, last night he had this dark aura around him but it didn’t feel like it belonged to him, it was as if someone had lent it to him.”

Samantha " Tell me, Samantha, do you want it?” Maximo asks. I laugh nervously, “ No,” My voice is shaky. “ Oh come on,” That tattooed arm leaves my thigh and caresses my cheek softly. Maximo pouts and he looks so fucking cute. For a moment I forget who he really is, a whole fucking sadistic dragon. I shake my head, I can't trust my words at the moment, there is a high possibility they will betray me.

He drawled and Sam blushed furiously. “I’m sorry, I was just in a rush to go join my family waiting for me.” “It’s fine really. Besides this is the most interesting thing that has happened to me on this beach today, he smirked. “My name is Xavier.” Sam smiled and ran her hand through her hair. “I’m Samantha.” “You are in a rush right? Could I get your number? Maybe we can go grab some iced coffee or something later?” Sam frowned slightly. “I wish that could work out but I’m leaving town tomorrow, college.” She added the last bit to clarify.

Giovanni (Gio) POV I was in my office, running over yesterdays events through my head, thinking about the rogue that was able to outrun my wolves. I also chased after her, but she hid and was able to make herself untraceable. I was frustrated, and I didn't even know why. My wolf was pacing in my head like crazy, causing me headaches and not lessening my thoughts about her. Sam's POV I woke up with the worst headache. I looked around. Where am I? Then I remembered that I had run away and was at a hotel.

As his eyes room her body, he begins to feel an uncomfortable tightening in his lower regions. “Good to know.” He tells her with a nod, before he walks away once more. This time not as quickly, since he has a rather unfortunate predicament in his jeans at the moment that hinders his escape. As he makes his way into the office, he finds Samuel sitting behind the desk with his feet propped up on the counter and a machanics magazine in his hands. Sammy is going to school to be a mechanics and they guy lives and breathes vehicles. He works midnights at the motel to support himself, his young girlfriend and their newborn baby.

She rushes her words to really emphasize the situation, but all Lucus does is shrug his shoulders and doesn't even bother to help Emma clear up the confusion. Sam's kind smile at Emma's answer only makes her blush. She feels the heat creeping up her cheeks and tries to hide it by taking a sip of her earlier abandoned drink. Luckily, Lucus chimes in and changes the conversation. Lucus starts asking Max about his newest project, which later helps Emma learn that Max is a growing fashion designer based in Japan.

Max scrambled to pull up his boxers and yanked on his pants. “This is my business,” he muttered, buttoning up. “What was so urgent it couldn’t wait two more damn minutes? I was almost—” “Spare me the details, young Master,” Sam cut in dryly. “Your friend is passed out on the dining table.” Max froze. “What?” “You might want to check on him instead of moaning his name in the bathroom,” Sam added with a knowing look before walking out.

Looking at her, Sam can’t say anything else, and he exits the design department searching for Max, and when he finally finds him at home he asks: “What was all about, Max? What the hell was going on in your head? “ But Max doesn't say anything, he just sits on the couch and stares blankly. On his face Cara's palm can be seen as a testimony that Maximillian Cruz was just slapped by a woman for the first time in his life and not just any woman, the weakest he ever met. “What’s with you two?” Grandpa Cruz asks coming down the stairs and sees that Max and Sam are standing like two statues.
