“Are you sure about that? It looks like you aren't young at all, no offense. Maybe, Favio was dead.” Samantha's face was full of sorrow, she avoided her eyes on me then she raised her hands which made us switch to a different place inside the mansion. I saw thousands of books on the shelf and there was an elegant chandelier hanging on the ceiling. Samantha had convinced me to buy items I had never used before, like baby oil and a lotion specific to babies. My stomach was tied in tight large knots that would soon kill me. My heart was making it hard to breathe the nearer we got to the cash register. In my head I kept telling myself that I would pay Hendrix back but who was I kidding, it was possible I would never be able to pay Hendrix a cent, no matter how much I wanted to. He had done so much for us already. “Oohh, we have to take these.” Samantha rushed to pick three books which she threw in the trolley. I shook my head.

Which is great. Samantha on the other hand is just sixteen and she's the sweet last child of the family. Unlike Madeline who's a spoilt brat, she's very nice and humble. She likes smiling a lot and she's very beautiful. We grew up together yet she's different from Madeline and me. No one would know that we're even related because of how nice she is. "Jay! But I knew.” I sigh, studying her, “can I ask you something?” When she gives me a questioning look, I asked, "your relationship with Anthony. Is any of it real?” Samantha closes her eyes for a heartbeat, “I did love him and while marrying him indeed did give me a cover, I did love him, coward as he was. My father was the leader of the Hunters. As was my brother. I didn't lie to you about how they died. Trying to protect me, they perished in the fire. But they had been training me since my mother died. I was a seasoned warrior by the time they died and I took over the Hunter clan.”
