RECKLESS DESIRES: THE ODEN LEGACY

RECKLESS DESIRES: THE ODEN LEGACY

Breakfast was also relaxed, eaten on the veranda with seagulls screaming in the distance. James built massive sandcastles every afternoon, every one of them bigger and more detailed than the previous one. Luke helped dig moats as Amiriam wandered about searching for shells to use to decorate the towers. One afternoon, as the sun dipped low, James looked up from his half-finished fortress. "Do you believe that castles never end?" Luke shook his head. "Not the sand castles. The tide comes back." James frowned. "That is kind of sad." "It only is sad if you don't build another," Luke replied.

One Night Stand With My Boss

One Night Stand With My Boss

Chapter eighty-one. The sun had begun to sink slowly into the horizon, painting the sky with warm shades of orange and pink. The ocean waves rolled gently onto the shore as the children continued playing happily in the sand. Princess and Soo-Jin were busy decorating their sandcastle with small seashells they had collected, while Peter proudly stood nearby, pretending to be the “guard” of the castle. “No one can destroy our castle!” Peter announced proudly. Princess giggled. “Peter, you’re too small to guard it.”

Waterfall Kisses

Waterfall Kisses

It was practically like a day off for Eli, too. Leo took my hand as we followed the path to the beach and began the easy walk to the docks. Granted, it was a longer walk following the pretty white sand, but much more romantic. The sky was a cloudless blue that stretched out for as far as I could see. Blue water rolled steadily in toward the land, slowly growing lighter until it was clear upon the sand. Gulls called down to us as they hovered over the waves waiting for something to eat. “Look at that sand castle.” Leo pointed to an elaborate creation not far from the beach. It was far enough inland that the tides hadn't destroyed it yet. It was definitely the work of adults rather than childr

The Brother I Shouldn’t Want

The Brother I Shouldn’t Want

There was a sandbox in the middle of the park, and the sand looked warm and soft, like it had just been touched by sunlight. I stood there, but my feet did not touch the ground. It was like I was floating above everything. In the sandbox, there was a little boy. He sat alone with his back bent forward, both hands busy shaping a small sandcastle. He worked carefully, slowly piling sand into a fragile tower. His clothes were old and dusty, and his hair was too long, falling into his eyes. No one sat near him. No one spoke to him. He looked very lonely. Not the kind of loneliness that came from being quiet or just because you want to, it was the kind that came from being pushed aside.

Rejected

Rejected

We laughed and joked, feeling the simple yet precious joy. Mark looked at me. “Look, Dad! I can make a bigger sandcastle than yesterday!” Zoya exclaimed, starting to dig in the sand with her bare hands. Zara nodded in agreement, “Let’s build it together! We can add the shells we found yesterday.” We all got involved in creating a grand sandcastle. Every shell we found became a decoration to beautify the castle. As the sun rose higher, we had successfully built a magnificent sandcastle, complete with towers and sturdy walls.

CHASING THE BILLIONAIRE'S SUBSTITUTE EX-WIFE

CHASING THE BILLIONAIRE'S SUBSTITUTE EX-WIFE

I kneeled down in the sand with Vera. The problem was... I had no idea how to build a sandcastle. Vera scooped up some sand, but I could tell she was unsure too. "Mom, how do we make a sandcastle?" Vera asked, looking at me with big, curious eyes. I laughed nervously. "Well, I think we start by making a big pile of sand. Let's try that,” I answered honestly. We both started gathering sand into a pile. It was small and kind of messy, but it was a start.

Kisses Under the Moonlight

Kisses Under the Moonlight

He was always alone since no kids from their neighborhood wanted to play with him even a little. The boy built a sandcastle using the red bucket. The boy had dull skin, as if no blood run in his veins. His small, frail hand tapped hard on the back of the bucket. The sand fell atop the sandcastle. It ruined what he had built. The disappointment was visible on his face as he stared at the broken sandcastle. The boy turned his head afterward toward where the car was and that’s when their eyes meet.

Ex-husband’s Regret: Revenge So Sweet

Ex-husband’s Regret: Revenge So Sweet

I drift to sleep, his arms steadying me, my heart anchored at last. Morning light washes over the beach. Waves lap gently, and children’s laughter flits through the air. Bare-footed, we head down to the sand where Scarlett and Sterling are already building their first castle of the day. Other families dot the shore, playing, walking, picnicking. Soft ukulele music drifts from a distant stand. They wave us over. Aurora, Aria, Collins, Richard—they’re all there in joyful circles. I join hands with Scarlett and Sterling, digging toes into warm grains. Sandcastle competitions begin, laughter echoing in the sunrise.

Haven’t gotten far in the book. But if Alexander and Bel don’t discover that everything is a lie and get back together I will be so mad. Both were drugged and set up. Absolutely no reason to make them be enemies by the end. If that is the plan then this story should have been set up differently.

I waited till the end to drop a comment, and I’m glad I did. Author, you did so well. I was a bit confused at some point, but you tied everything together beautifully. This is a solid 10/10. I’ll miss the characters, especially Roy. Thank you for this amazing story. I’m looking forward to more works

Stuck With The Bossy CEO

Stuck With The Bossy CEO

I have been taking pictures of them from time to time, while I build the sandcastle that I promised to make for my little precious princess and my glorious queen. "Girls, get in here now. It's done!" I called out to them after I had the finishing touches of my masterpiece and set the camera to record a moment that is so important to me. This is it. Finally. When they went to where I am standing still and holding a thing in my left hand, I took a deep breath as I waited for her to notice and read the words that I had written on the sand right at the base of our castle.

Rejected to be His Luna

Rejected to be His Luna

I said and Smile smiled brightly. Well. At least I wasn’t alone on this journey. I squatted near their tiny sand castle and tried making a big enough sand castle for them. Smile and Lead entered my sand castle, but it crumbled, burying them within it. “Oh, no!” I removed the sand and dug them out. Both of them shook their bodies, dusting off sand off them and their wings. I used my fingers to clean them off. I chuckled. Why are they so cute? “Zeve!” I heard Lily shout in her tiny voice. I immediately got to my feet, sensing the danger in her tone.

Absolutely loved reading this and I’m hoping there will be sequels that will answer some of the questions about some of the characters and what’s happened to them. Love the twists & turns plus it’s not a predictable plot. It’s not like other books so it’s refreshing.
