He was an Ashen Fang, a vampire who had traded his soul for the madness of the infinite hunger. "The girl... the Triple-Blood," the creature wheezed, his voice sounding like two stones grinding together. "The masters want the heart. They want the stone. They want you in pieces."

They are not royal but strong vampires, however, they don't have any psychic powers but their strength was unbeatable. I groaned and rolled. “She is getting up,” another voice said. “She’s awake.” I shook my head slowly and groaned as it intensified the pounding in my ears. I could still taste the coppery blood in my mouth and one of my teeth was shaking loose. I opened my eyes and saw two men who I immediately saw were vampires because of their pale white skin, which was glistening under the sun like there were a million tiny diamonds embedded in them. They were sire vampires. I growled under my breath, my eyes flashed red.

She chuckled. “Yes, we do that too. But we are here to serve them a greater purpose. We fill them with their supply of blood. Also, vampires don’t share blood with other vampires. So, the humans you’ve seen so far, belong to someone here. Usually, the ones they are closer to or walking with…” I thought about the girl I saw the other day on our way to the vamp house for breakfast. She looked like she had just come back from swimming, and she was walking behind a vampire. Both of them were looking at me but then they disappeared into the woods.

Instantly, Lisanna paled. “It was forbidden to mention his name,” Lisanna said. Cassandra couldn’t help but frown at her friend. “Oh, come on! That's ridiculous. Tell me his name, already,” Cassandra insisted. Lisanna nervously looked around her and leaned closer. She looked at Cassandra with her blue eyes and spoke. “Sebastian Alistair Blood. He is the vampire prince, or simply known as First.”

However, it could’ve just been me imagining things. I walked toward the table. The Vampire had a nose piercing and looked still quite young, but the wisdom in his dark eyes told me otherwise. His hair was styled in spikes and his face had a dark, mischievous smirk. The hunter on the other hand was an old looking man with grey hair and a potbelly. He had piercing grey eyes and a look of tiredness on his face. As soon as I reached the table the vampire sniffed and beamed. "A Veneziano. To what do I owe this pleasure?"
