For a second, he doubted his own sanity. “Mmmhh,” he had read a headline and it was about a spell which was a bit dark it included using blood and fire magic he had decided to memorize it hoping it would work. He could feel the echo of his voice stronger like the hallway was empty yet it wasn't. From his pocket, he pulled a worn slip of parchment a rune etched in faded ink, a page he had pulled from a book he saw in the old library, Forbidden magic, Fire-linked. He had spent his entire day researching in the library.

"Why do I feel... so... heavy?" I whisper looking over at Candi, hoping she can give me the answer. "This is where she practices her magic. It came at a high cost," she whispers back.
