The Alpha Runaway Mate

The Alpha Runaway Mate

"It's blank." Everest took the book, his expression puzzled. "Really? That's strange." I reached out, gently taking the book from Everest's hands. As I opened it, the pages sprang to life, filled with an intricate tapestry of spells, potions, and ancient magical knowledge. "What the..." Brent's eyes widened in surprise. "It's not blank," I murmured, awe coloring my tone. "It's full of information." Miranda leaned in, her fingers tracing the elegant script. "This is incredible. Old world magic, the likes of which I've never seen."

Destined By The Moon Goddess

Destined By The Moon Goddess

There was only one way to not think about Diego, and that was to get into someone else's memory. I brought my mother's spell book and placed it on the skeleton table. I also brought with me, a belonging of Calipsu; a hair band. Even though I was warned by Madison to not engage in dark magic, I went on with it - besides, good girls are bad girls that aren't caught, and I just really needed to get Diego off my mind so badly, and memory reading seemed like the only way out.

-Karen- Over the next four days, Conor had meetings after the drills so Joanne and Bart, when they could, stayed with me. I had managed to talk Joanne into going with me to our library, so I could read up on the Mage books. I figured since I had so much time, I could brush up on the spell portions of my magic even if I couldn’t cast anything. I miss my magic. I feel like I’ll never use it again at this rate. She found a book on Mazifikian culture and decided to read it while I studied. So many spells and all for different things. Memory suppression… Maybe I could figure out a way to forget the bad things that have happened. I could change my hair to a different color too! What color should I

Maeve’s POV Holding the spellbook in my hands, I could feel the power radiating off it. It was amazing that I couldn’t feel the power until the safe was open, but now I’m staring down at it, my heart pounding wildly in my chest. This spellbook once belonged to my mother and it was a book that only an Enigma could use, which meant when my baby was old enough, he’d be able to use this book. It was filled with dark magic and spells that could destroy the entire world if not careful. This was a book that didn’t belong in the hands of King Arlan.

Liked this story. I read it because I loved one of the author's previous stories, so I felt like I was going to love this one too. And it was so true! However, I'd love it even more if you could update? Please? I'm thrilled to know what would happen next! Please! Pretty please!

How often are the chapters added? As an avid reader I'm loving the story, but now I'm having to wait for more chapters. The top ups are not cheap so I cannot afford to use them to start another book. Also I hope this book is not short lived, meaning so many unanswered questions involving characters.

The Journey of The Wind Magical Girl

The Journey of The Wind Magical Girl

“If you still don’t believe me, look at this.” Rikka showed a dusty brown book titled ‘The Magic and Its Origins’ in Archipelrunska runes. Judging from the condition of the book, it seems to have been published a long time ago. “This is the first version of Reki Vidmann’s book with the original title. The content is still very original. There are no changes at all, including the author’s notes. Try reading this section,” Without even chanting a single incantation, the book was suddenly enveloped in light and floated like a bubble towards Alisa. Rikka turned out to be a high-level light magical girl.

Fated Reborn, His Unwanted Mate

Fated Reborn, His Unwanted Mate

Eleanor’s POV My heart skipped a beat as I spotted a book bound in black leather. Gold letters on the cover proudly declared its title: "Mastery of Magic." A shiver ran down my spine as I opened it, scanning its pages for any guidance on the powers that had both blessed and troubled me. There, written in simple and clear words, was a guide on how to control the very magic that now felt like a wild force within me. A surge of hope filled my heart. This book might be the key to mastering my gifts, to unlocking the secrets of my magic and understanding my past.

The Prophecy of Fated Mates

The Prophecy of Fated Mates

He insisted on going there with me, so I let him. I spent hours going from one book about magic to the next. There was no other way to describe what was happening. It was magic, simple. “What are you doing?” I heard Alpha Moretti call out, making me jump in my skin. I slammed the book I was holding closed, although there wasn't any need for that considering the numerous books that were sprawled out on the table with their titles on display. His eyes settled on the biggest book there, and my cheeks burned in embarrassment. “The Art of Magic,” the topic read.

Entangled with my Alpha bully

For a second, he doubted his own sanity. “Mmmhh,” he had read a headline and it was about a spell which was a bit dark it included using blood and fire magic he had decided to memorize it hoping it would work. He could feel the echo of his voice stronger like the hallway was empty yet it wasn't. From his pocket, he pulled a worn slip of parchment a rune etched in faded ink, a page he had pulled from a book he saw in the old library, Forbidden magic, Fire-linked. He had spent his entire day researching in the library.

"Why do I feel... so... heavy?" I whisper looking over at Candi, hoping she can give me the answer. "This is where she practices her magic. It came at a high cost," she whispers back. "The whole area is imbued with her magic. And in case you haven't figured it out yet, she's all about dark magic." I'm going to agree with her assessment. The whole place felt dark and twisted.

I tried to once again open it but stopped once I realized it wasn’t going to budge. “Okay... From the books I read on magic and dark magic if I want to get started with it I have to give up something of myself… It must be talking about blood since I don’t know what else I could give up from myself.” I lift a needle that I stole from Mae sewing kit and stab myself in the finger with it.
