Bound by Blood and Betrayal

Bound by Blood and Betrayal

It was the only night powerful enough to fuel the ritual I needed to break Ethan’s hold on Paige. My hands curled into fists as I looked down at the ancient tome laid open on the weathered altar stone. The ink was faded, the symbols strange and twisted, almost alive beneath the pale light. I had spent days tracking down the book, following whispers of old magic I was never meant to touch. The moment I found it, the weight of it felt wrong in my hands, like it knew the kind of price it demanded. But none of that mattered. Paige was worth it.

Mate's Revenge

Mate's Revenge

“It’s old, older than anything in the royal archives. It’s written in an ancient language, Greek or Latin perhaps, but there are annotations in a dialect none of us can fully translate.” Caelum brushed away a layer of dust and flipped it open carefully. The air filled with that papery scent of decay and magic, the kind that caused me to wrinkle my nose. The pages were filled with delicate, looping handwriting and sketches of sigils, and rituals, along with a few plants and herbs. “Yup, it's definitely a witch book.” I muttered, my eyes caught on a torn page near the middle, “Wait,” I said, pointing. “What is that?”

The Luna's Second Fate

The Luna's Second Fate

The ancient library beneath the fortress had been sealed for two hundred years. When Elder Morgana suggested we open it, I balked. But she was insistent, and when I saw the books piled inside, volumes about Moon Healers, Primordials, ancient magic, I understood why. "These were written by the last Moon Priestess," Elder Morgana explained, carefully handling a leather-bound tome. "Before she disappeared. Before the Primordials supposedly won their war and were banished."

The One

The One

But the questions in my mind are relentless, and I know I won’t find peace until I start looking through the stacks for some kind of solution. I reach for one of the books on the table, a heavy tome bound in deep green leather with silver lettering on the cover. It’s a book of magic, one that I’ve studied before, but never with the urgency I feel now. I flip it open, my eyes scanning the pages for any mention of the barrier, of the ancient fae who first created it, and of the Ones who were with her.

The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

He had been in the dungeon, forgotten and left to rot all these years but then somebody took the effort to silence him so surely his words should have an ounce of truth atleast. Hence, I was determined to find the answers to my questions. Positioning the ladder under the huge desk, I climbed up and ran my eyes through the spines. I read through the titles, the ones that I could, and scratched my chin, wondering what to pick up first. ‘Mages of the ancient’ A title of a book caught my attention, and I wondered if this could be it. Reaching for the giant tome, I slowly pulled it out and struggled a bit to hold it in my hands.

I am not often sucked into a story like this, but I actually care about the characters. the male lead is intriguing and mysterious. i like that the female lead, is strong. I'd love to see where you go with this. I'll be checking out your other stories while waiting and anticipating your next update

In my honest opinion, it's a good story, but I'm not done with the book yet. I'm struggling with it. The author has drug the story out and jumps ahead without clarifying things. (Like all of a sudden, the FL has magic, but for 113 chapters, there is no mention of it or her being a hybrid.)

Hidden Magic

Bruce asks me. I shake my head. "I could use a ride if you don't mind. I am not sure I am ready to drive today," I say. I know I am not ready to drive. "I can take you, but first, I have to tell you something. I made some calls while you were sorting through some things. I wanted to give you some space. I found both of your uncles. They own a little magic shop in New Orleans. It is called Elemental Magic," Bruce says.

It was dusty like all the others, it was the only book out of place, she kept it aside. “Grandfather, you wait here I will just go and open the windows”, as she did, the whole room lit up, blinding rays of sunlight crept in. “Okay pa, what are we to look for?”, she asked. Edgar thought for a brief moment, “A book on ancient magic or magic of the old times. The birth of magic…” She nodded in understanding. She placed the ladder against the shelves and proceeded to climb. “Cleopatra no, let me climb…”

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you're hunting for ancient magic books, you're in for a wild ride! I've spent years digging through obscure corners of the internet for these treasures, and let me tell you, it's a mix of thrill and frustration. My favorite spots are specialized rare book dealers like 'The Hermitage Bookshop' or 'Mythic Manuscripts'—they often have catalogs of occult and esoteric texts. eBay can be hit-or-miss, but I’ve snagged a few gems there by checking seller reputations meticulously. Don’t overlook university libraries selling duplicates; sometimes they offload rare prints.

For digital copies, 'Internet Archive' and 'Google Books' have surprising depth if you know how to search. Older grimoires like 'The Key of Solomon' often pop up in scanned formats. Just be prepared to cross-reference editions—some 'ancient' listings are modern reprints with fancy fonts. And a word of caution: if a deal seems too good to be true (looking at you, $20 'Necronomicon'), it probably is. My shelf of questionable purchases is proof.
