My knee throbs with every step. He walks beside me. Silent. Watching. The air between us is charged. Heavy. I can barely breathe. His scent surrounds me. Pine. Rain. Everything I’ve been craving for four months. Sable is whimpering. Say something. Do something. Please. I can’t. If I open my mouth, I don’t know what will come out. We walk in silence. The forest gets quieter. Darker. Finally, he speaks. “You didn’t sign up for the tournament, did you?”

Shrugging she walked towards Liam but the beeps of her phone interrupted her and she quickly answered the call without bothering to look at the name. “Hello” “You have a lot of explaining to do Aura, why did you do that to Mr Jules?” She removed the phone from her ears and checked the name which turned out to be Bigfoot. “You don’t under Bigfoot, he tried to force himself on me and we didn’t have any discussion like that” She heard Bigfoot hiss, “I didn’t send you there to be an interpreter only aura, goddammit” he spat and she could feel shiver running through her spine.

Anxiety always rises to the surface before any other emotion. Suddenly, the screeching sound of tires reached my ears, and I looked up to see a yellow car with two black stripes pulling into the parking lot. Hayden emerged from the vehicle, wearing sunglasses and allowing his hair to flow freely. It appeared more voluminous today, resembling fluffy clouds atop his head. Donning a black hoodie and black basketball shorts, he sported black sneakers as well. Engrossed in a phone call, he looked up and immediately locked eyes with me, causing me to avert my gaze instantly.

Ace mumbled making me giggle. shaking my head at him I walk towards his room. "what movie do you have in mind?" I asked him softly "I don't know just pick anything I don't mind." Ace replied before walking towards his bed. nodding my head, I scrolled through N*****x before stopping at Warrior Nun. "is this ok?" I asked before looking at Ace. only to find him shirtless, his head titled up as he tried catching his breath. "Ace?, is everything ok?" I asked softly walking towards him.

“He keeps me flush with the good shit and I’m always happy to share. Plus, I’ve never believed that it’s good for a man to drink, or smoke, alone. Isn’t that right, Warthog?” Through the haze of smoke, I could barely make out the rather furry man seated at the end of a large leather sofa. Warthog, who I thought looked a bit like Cheech, or was it Chong, simply smiled through his bushy black and grey beard. Causing his eyes to disappear behind his wire-rimmed glasses. “We’re not sitting, because we’re not staying,” Minus said, clearly pissed. “Actually, she can sit all she wants.” He motioned to me. “What the fuck do I care, but I’m outta here,” he said, turning to leave.

Though confused, I let Cyrus pull me closer to him as we crossed. "Ash..." "Don't talk. I'm here to give you these." "Thanks man." I heard Cyrus say but I got my eyes focused on something else. On the ground are my bags and suitcase. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and when I faced Ashton, he just gave me a smile. "I'll be out of town for a month or two and I can't take the risk of leaving you alone in my apartment, or at yours..." Oh God, no he won't.

Marcel dropped his cutleries noisily and slammed his fists causing Samantha to flinch. " Are you going to bore me with pleasantries or will you sit and eat!". His voice echoed through the walls of the room.
