Larissa walked up to Xavier and asked demandingly, "will you help me fight the shentukas?" "No," came Xavier's curt answer as he poured himself another glass. "Why?!" Larissa yelled in exasperation. She thought that he'd help after what happened that evening. "Shentukas are the least of my problems," he replied and swirled his drink in the glass. "Even if I consider it, how would I be able to help you?" He asked, watching her from behind his drink. From what he knew, she was a witch, and only witches could figure out how to stop other witches.

***Charlie POV*** Carmen reached for me again but I couldn't be touched. Sasha glowed an eery white as she threw Carmen across the room. "Even if you best me here Sasha I still win. You either let the portal open or you sacrifice your friends life to close it. Either way Selena the Moon Goddess loses again I kill her heir again and the prophecy plays out anyway." Carmen laughed menacingly. The big black doors the portal to the other world strained. Sasha ducked a spell and hurled one back at Carmen who smashed against the rock face unconscious. The portal glowed stronger still as panic built in me.

Team XS’s uniform was a mix of red and white with the logo of a dragon sewn onto the baseball shirt made of natural silk, coupled with a white t-shirt and black sports pants. The design was the same for females. With the contrast of the bright red color, Xyla’s face appeared almost like a blossoming rose that was incomparably soft and smooth. Due to her excellent body proportions, even a casual outfit couldn’t conceal her fabulous physique. As Xyla stood in front of the dressing mirror, she pulled her hair back into a simple tall ponytail to match her overall appearance. He stared at his friend, feeling like he had found an ally. “Yes, I'm crazy, Doc. Could you be my medicine? It’s because I'm crazy for you," Shyra flirted, winking at Cyrex, who just looked at her and then ignored her again. "Keep your mouth shut, or I'll push you out of this airplane," Cyrex seriously threatened.

"Just now, when you pouted like that, you looked like a little round pufferfish. So adorable!" Serena frowned. "Hey, can you have some conscience? I was angry just now, and instead of comforting me, you’re focusing on whether I’m cute or not?!" Xavier grinned, revealing two rows of perfectly white teeth. "By the way, if I want to see you look that cute and playful often, do I need to make you angry every now and then?"

She couldn't hide her surprise at the power Narsha had displayed. “Let. Me. Go. Or I’ll scream!” Charlene hissed. “Just scream. I would like to have an audience,” Narsha replied with a laugh in between. She added, “And one more thing, that man, Dexter, he’s too proud to use the power of The Fate Witch, if it does exist. After maneuvering through the bustling crowd, ensuring no harm to anyone, Xavier takes complete command, shifting into his animal form. With graceful agility, he soars through the air, landing several yards away on all four paws. The faint scent of Annalise fills his nostrils, propelling him deeper into the woods. A soft chuckle escapes me as Xavier realizes that Annalise and Larissa have devised a challenge for us. Evidence of their mischievous game emerges, with remnants of Annalise’s dress adorning low branches in every direction, creating a whimsical trail to follow.
