Slowly, she drifts off to sleep. “Well, there goes to our party night down the drain” Robert sighs. Sour mouth probably pissed the guardian angels. As soon as he finish speaking, the lights came on. All of them simultaneously snap up at the light source except for Sarah who is fast asleep. Mike is the first one to lower his gaze and study Sarah’s face in the light. His eyes widen slowly, catching everyone’s attention as they curiously follow his eye line. A row of gasps erupts. Two red bleeding spots peek at her rosy lips. A large, purplish hickie highly contrasts her slender neck. Even a few fine scratches up her cheeks.

I knocked again, harder this time. The curtain in the window next to the door moved just a little. I saw an eye peek through, then disappear. A few seconds later, the door opened just a little. Sarah's face appeared in the gap. She looked different than she did on TV. Her hair was pulled back in a messy bun and she wore sweatpants and an oversized sweater. No makeup. Which was very weird. Sarah always wore makeup. She knew how beautiful she was and never wasted time flaunting it. The last gala must have wounded her pride so much for her to be looking like this.

I fire. "Fucking bitch!" she gasps. "Come at me. Let's end this once and for all," I say as I take a step forward. "Ladies please, don't do this," Blake says and he pulls me away. I turn to face him and my arm flies right across his face, leaving a very hot slap on his left cheek. The fucking audacity of this fucker!
