Savage Castle Chapter 1 Novels & Stories

Scarlet coughed and wiped dust from her eyes. Her mind swirled as she tried to make sense of what was happening around her. One moment the Immortalists had been advancing on her and Sage, the next moment there’d been a tremendous explosion that rocked the castle. Then the ceiling had caved in, bringing with it brick, wood, and heavy slate tiles. Scarlet looked around and found that she was in a cocoon of rubble. It was so dark she could hardly see. Thick dust clogged her lungs, make it difficult to breathe.

For them, this was some kind of entertainment. My eyes caught some familiar ones, and he nodded his head, then he averted his gaze after he pushed his useless glasses up. I snarled at the doctor, remembering what happened between us. But then my snarl died when I saw Savage stare at me with a thoughtful frown on his face. I didn’t look away or offer him any submissive act and I guess this caught his attention and he cocked a brow at me in a silent question. But I just glared at him in disgust, because this was barbaric. How could he treat me like this? If I was the weakest link in the pack, they should protect me, all of them. This is the law, not like this, not throw me to the wolves litera

Thank you so much for reading my first ever book, I leave you with the first chapter from Rise of a Queen - book 2 for your enjoyment. RISE OF A QUEEN - BOOK 2 Chapter 1 – A New Kingdom. LAMIA I looked out the window on the top floor of my castle, yes, my castle, taking slow sips from the crystal glass that held the dark thick rum, my drink of choice tonight, as I pondered over the past two years and how far we had come.

I’d only ever sparred in dreams; my mind and muscle memory were trained, but I still didn’t know how well I’d fare in a true, physical battle. The front doors were unlocked. I stepped into the dusty, empty entrance hall and approached a flight of stairs. As I set foot upon the first step, the room trembled. I kicked into the air, buzzing my wings to get off the shaking ground. The room changed. The front door melted away, leaving only a wall. Jagged diagonal cracks appeared in the floor, tugging it open, until there was a wide hole below me—a gateway to a room below. I desperately wanted to escape from this strange and terrible castle, but I had to press on if I was to stop Salem in time. So

~*~ Warning the following chapter contains a sexually explicit scene. ~*~ (Salvatore’s POV) The flames of the fire quickly die down, leaving us shivering against the cold dark night. The rogue supernatural’s left a while ago, and the only sound left in the forest is the wind howling in the tree. It’s going to be a cold night, and we are going to have to find a place to bed down in for the night before the impending storm gets any worse.

I couldn’t afford to stop, not even for a moment—something, or someone, seemed to be chasing me, pushing me onward. Finally, the silhouette of the forest’s edge appeared before me. The castle loomed through the mist like a slumbering beast, its dark outline stark against the pale light of dawn. Without hesitation, I charged through the boundary of the trees and up the stone steps, my breath coming in ragged gasps. As I entered the castle, I made a beeline straight for Neil’s room.

“Yeah, but why? If he’s so strong, why does he need us?” Edward smirked, his muscles tensing as he prepared to strike. Before either rogue could react, Edward surged forward, his fist colliding with the first rogue’s jaw in a sickening crunch. Daniel followed swiftly, his blade slicing through the air as he subdued the second rogue with a precision strike to the neck. “Too easy,” Daniel muttered, wiping his blade clean. Edward stepped over the unconscious bodies, his eyes fixed on the castle door. “Let’s find him.” The door creaked loudly as they pushed it open, revealing a dimly lit hall. Candles flickered along the walls, casting eerie shadows that danced like wraiths. The air was thick wi

I allowed myself to become softly rounded with contentment, healed trauma falling away like autumn leaves revealing fresh green growth beneath. But storm clouds were indeed gathering on the horizon that even Alex's skill could not foresee. While walking the castle halls one afternoon hand in hand, I felt my mate stiffen beside me. His nose twitched, scenting something amiss carried on an ominous breeze. Alex's snarl rose from deep in his chest as black spots swam before my vision. Our enemies had made the first unpredicted move. The game had begun in earnest.

“Yeah, me too! I want something wild. Something completely out of character. Sex in public, maybe? I've been a good girl for too long. Oh, how I want my Alpha crush would appear out of nowhere and have his way with me.” “Alpha crush?” I asked hastily, knowing they'd have to face me shortly. How the hell was I supposed to know what I wanted when I haven't even experienced sex itself? “Alpha Leon. Have you guys heard of him?” Layla nodded. “The pure-blood? I heard he is dangerous. People get scared shitless just from the mention of his name. They call him Savage Alpha, the bringer of death because that's what he does. He kills.” I leaned in closer, my curiosity in the story unexpectedly piqued

His evil sense has cruelly brushed off all the beauty from this once elegant castle. The roaring startles me from my rather keen observation of the castle. Xavier must have been informed, I guess from the way the ground on which I am standing starts vibrating. Not thinking of anything else, I quickly turn to the right sprinting into the forest not looking back to the house where all my nightmares came to life. ~~~~~~~
