Sophie giggled. As if he was slapped back to reality, the man cleared his throat and avoided my gaze. "I'm looking for Savanah Hemsworth." "I knew it! Madame Aura was legit!" Sophie squeezed my arms, her grin almost reaching her ears. "Knock it off," I warned her before I walked towards the man. "Uhm, I'm Savanah, Sir. How may I help you?" He looked at me for a couple seconds with a foreign expression written in his obsidian pools. He then swallowed and looked away again as if he was afraid to reveal something to me.

Lenox was a good fighter and observer; Emily could also put up an excellent fight; he couldn't get lucky with these two. “It doesn't add up. Who the hell are you?” I whimpered with frustration. “Who are you talking to, Sia?” Rebecca appeared in my room, leaning against the door behind her. She was putting on a mini jeans skirt and a pink crop top, and her violet hair was packed into a ponytail style, red lip gloss smeared on her plump lips. She’s also an elementary school teacher like me.”

They were solid orbs of white light. "Steady!" Malachi shouted over the roar of the energy. Sloane felt the amber fire lashing out at him. It scorched his shirt. It bit into his chest like needles. He did not let go. He looked down into Elena's eyes and saw the raw terror of a girl who had been told she was sick for twenty-four years. She had no idea she was a goddess being born to purge the world. "Stay with me, Savior." His voice was a rasp, his muscles bulging as he fought to keep her down. "Fight it."

Raven sat up straighter, playing the role of someone grasping at any connection to her lost love. The woman hesitated, then slid into the chair across from Raven. "I'm Tessa. My old man is Rattler, the Diamondbacks' sergeant-at-arms. Michael was... he worked with us sometimes. Small jobs, nothing heavy." She studied Raven's face carefully. She found an empty space at the back and went to sit down. She saw Bethany and the other Cheerleader murmuring something and she was very sure it was about her. As soon as the bell went, signaling the end of the period, Makaila rushed out of the class to the rest room. Thankfully, no one was inside. She stood in front of the mirror and saw how bloated she looked. She still had the scar on her lips from the slap and her face looked so bad. She put on the tap and splashed the cool water over her face a couple of times. She had no make up so she just dried her face with her cloths and went out. She went to her locker to drop her books but saw Bethany and the other cheerleaders standing by it.

I am so happy, they forgot about me but, my little bubble was broken when one of the girls said, "Hey aren’t we missing out on the intro of the new I*******m savage!" I am sure my cheeks were flushed red. I stand up slowly and say "Hello guys, nice to meet you! Yeah, I am new, please do not call me the i***a savage, I was just showing her place. Sadie and I have been in Baker now for two months. Going by the names Katie and Nick. Sadie turns eighteen in three days. It’s hard to believe that she is seven months pregnant, but her stomach grows every day. I got a job right away and Sadie wanted to do something besides stay at home all day.
