A Secretary's Vendetta

A Secretary's Vendetta

I have never felt so wrong about someone, how could I have mistaken him for a devil once? "let's cut the cake," He said. He got up to slice the cake and two Siamese voices grew louder. “See?” he asked, when the cats appeared on either side of him, their faces lifted as they meowed, sounding for all the world like little children. “They have unique voices, don’t they?” I asked, fascinated. I tried to touch them. "They have claws and they aren’t shy about using them,” he added with a warning glance. “Go slowly, and everything will be all right.”

Turns Out Cats Are Endgame

Turns Out Cats Are Endgame

They looked broken, half-dead in the rain. Good thing I brought them home. That's what saved them. They stored energy, slept for years, kept evolving in this twisted timeline—and produced an even stronger next generation. They hid the glitches. To everyone else, they were just regular house cats. Until the apocalypse hit. Their powers rebooted. Same game. Different round. I'd barely finished processing that when noise flared outside. "Where are those cats? Hand them over!" Alan stood there with a crowd behind him. Three massive crocodiles sprawled at his feet.

My Cats Ruled the Apocalypse

My Cats Ruled the Apocalypse

He bundled up my three sleeping cats in one go and flung open the window, ready to toss them out. Quick as lightning, I stepped in front of him, blocking his move. "Dominic, what are you doing? I raised them!" He exploded on the spot. "Haven't you heard the notice? The apocalypse starts in twenty-four hours! You expect these blind, crippled cats to protect you?" I planted myself firmly in front of the window, refusing to budge. When brute force didn't work, he tried persuasion. "Scarlett, listen to me. Kill these useless cats, and we'd have six slots. Then we could raise more beasts. We'd be invincible."

Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO

Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO

She pressed the phone screen gently against her cheek, her voice trembling as she spoke, word by word. “Aurora, do you know… it was the first time I’d ever seen that little cat. “I only met it at the mouth of the alley. I fed it a treat, sat with it for a little while—that’s all. “It was so sweet, so incredibly sweet. Its fur was soft, and it kept rubbing up against me. I never imagined that such a brief moment… would end up being its whole life.”

Lin Wilkerson
Book has good qualities, yet I find myself skipping parts of it because it becomes boring and drags. I Love that you are updating 6 or more chapters daily, but I would like this book finished with an awesome ending. Also, when will Lucas's identity be revealed? It's at 476 chapters and counting.

Currently I am losing interest in reading this book because of so much unnecessary dragging of the storyline. Plus Lucas' character is losing the charm and power it held at the start. Aurora and Lucas are now becoming the side characters in their own story.

whispered Opal, voice strained with fright. To everyone’s utter surprise, the cat started to walk towards her. Cynthia continued to talk to it. And then, finally, she took it in her arms. She continued talking to it that Dylan thought she could as well be muttering incantations to compel the cat. She grabbed the cat by the nape and slid it inside her backpack.

THE ALPHA'S REGRET

THE ALPHA'S REGRET

The woman was gently stroking the cat's fur. I returned my gaze back to Hailey, confusion evident on my face. "Sweetheart, that cat looks perfectly fine. So what exactly are you saving about it? It's with its owner. So why will it need saving?” "Actually, I saw the…." "And even if it needed saving, who's going to save who? You? Please don't make me laugh." "But it really……” “ Shush. No whining. You know I don't like that. Let's just go have some fun and enjoy our day. Isn't that what we came out for? Not interfering with other people's pets."

To Save, or Not to Save

To Save, or Not to Save

" I let out a deep sigh when I heard that. My nose started to sting, and I felt like someone had ripped the soul out of me. I knew Teresa didn't love me and would do anything for Keaton. But seriously, even a stranger with stomach cancer would get more sympathy than this. I had spent years sleeping beside her. But when the doctor said I might recover, she still wanted me dead. I coughed violently, intentionally spewing blood everywhere on the bed and floor. I pulled out the mini voice recorder and transferred everything to my phone. Then, I called Dylan Chase, my lawyer friend. "I've sent you all the recordings of Keaton, Dylan. Along with what you found earlier, I'm ready to go all out to p

Saving The Alpha

Saving The Alpha

I couldn't make out his face, but his voice was deep and haunting. "Sophia," he called out to me, desperation lacing his words. "I have been trapped here for so long, waiting for you to find me. Please, help me." Though I couldn't see him clearly, I sensed his pain and longing. He reached out to me, his hands shackled by chains that seemed to drain the very life from him. "You must save me, Sophia. You have to help me out" I wanted to help him, but I couldn't move. I was rooted to the spot, unable to reach out and touch him. As I struggled to break free from my invisible bindings, the man's voice grew fainter, and the room around me began to blur and fade.

A Girl From the Past

A Girl From the Past

Better than being ripped apart by a wild animal. "Okay girl, just quit it." Savannah scooped the angry cat into her arms, bringing it back to the car while rubbing at the huge thing lovingly. Mr. Hernandez just sighed, then followed suit. He was supposed to be the boss here! The hobo man was sleeping soundly when they got back to the car. Savannah put the cat inside and it curled itself on the man's lap, joining the sleep. The atmosphere around them had changed drastically. It wasn't so eerie anymore that the noise had gone, and now the moon shined even brighter than before. The soft breeze wasn't cold, instead, it felt like a lullaby.

Kat Call

Kat Call

I was only talking to the hottest guy I have ever seen. "Oh!" she wiggles her eyebrows, and grins at me, "do tell." Oops. I guess I said that out loud. I bite my lip, thinking through my next words. "Actually, I met two guys." "WHAT?!" Audrey screeches, throwing her hands in the air and nearly punching Mark in the face. At his grunt, she composes herself, and grins at me, "tell me all about them! I want details, Kat!" "Well—" I start until Dan cuts me off.
