Saving Nora The Movie Novels & Stories

"You saved the baby. You saved the evidence." Nora looked down at her hands. Still shaking. She put them in her lap where she didn't have to look at them. She looked around the laundromat. Rachel. Margaret. Priya. Vivian. All four of them, right there, all still breathing. One of the dryers behind Margaret was still running, empty, tumbling nothing, and nobody had turned it off. "What happens now," Nora asked. "We wait," Rachel said. "We watch. We see what happens once the story's out."

He knows she’ll be the death of us if she doesn’t shut the fuck up. My mom nods, crossing her arms in very clear annoyance. Mister Ferreira lets out a smile at my mother and shakes his head, looking amused. He kind of looks like he’s a nice man, but I know better. I’ve seen him work before, I’ve seen him in his element and I know he’s not really nice. At all. "Let her have her say, Sinclair. I know that Winona always saves the day after all," he says, shrugging his shoulders, "Please, Winona, tell me what you think about this. A mother’s perspective is always appreciated.”

"If Liam finds out this was staged…" "He won't, if it's done carefully." I cut her off, sealing off her doubt completely. I leaned back, watching her weigh it as I sipped my coffee, completely relaxed because I knew she would do it. "Nora doesn't need proof of anything real.” I continued. “She just needs one moment of doubt sharp enough to crack what they've built. You have seen how she reacted to the photograph alone. Imagine what she'd do walking into a room and seeing you close to him, in a place she wasn't supposed to know about."

Nora's POV I don't get on a bus. I don't leave the city. Instead, I take Chen's fifty dollars and use twenty of it to rent a locker at a 24-hour gym. The kind that doesn't ask questions if you pay cash. Somewhere I can shower. Somewhere I can keep my stuff safe. The other thirty goes toward a burner phone from a convenience store. Prepaid. Untraceable. If Marcus or Jade or the debt collectors are tracking my regular phone, they won't find me on this one.

Joe met with Russell the next day and gave him the address. Russell went to the address and talked to Gloria. Gloria told Russell that Tommy had stopped breathing that night. Dolly was hysterical and didn't want to calm down. It was difficult for the rescue team to rescue Tommy. Dolly behavior disturbed Doctor Oliver as he tried to save Tommy. Doctor Oliver gave Dolly a shot to put her to sleep.

The voice seemed to whisper in her ear again. She didn't know how she knew what to do but she reached back and grabbed ahold of Kip’s face. She focused everything she had, She could feel herself drawing off of Kip. “Stop! What are you doing?” Kip yelled as he felt himself become weaker. She didn't stop, she drained him using it to feed the growing force inside of her. Nora’s eyes began to glow amber as she looked out over her friends. The world turned into slow motion allowing her the time she needed to save them. She shut her eyes, her body vibrating and she imagined all the Lobos in the positions they were. She thought of Kip and his placement. This was enough! She let the feeling build

Haddock? Nancy's tensed fist got even tighter. No! She would not allow this to happen! Before she could respond, Tessa Warner had already approached Nora. She patted Nora's back while she held a the strict expression "Nora, tell me frankly, are you having it?" Nora looked bewildered. "Having what?” Without saying another word, Tessa Warner brought Nora straight to ther hospital without a second thought. Within the next half an hour, Tessa Warner had almost fainted when she came out with the test results.

I had to face whatever secrets the mansion held, for my own sanity and for the sake of my new life with Nicholas. With a deep breath, I wrapped a shawl around my shoulders and ventured out into the moonlit hallways, my heart pounding. What exactly was I walking into? But as I followed the voice and just when I was about to make a turn into a corner I bumped into Clara who was rushing out, and she was sweating. "Miss?" She called, frowning, "What are you doing here?" "Don't you hear the voice?" I asked my eyes darting around, "Can't you?"

But it was what he was holding that made the breath freeze entirely in my throat. Nora Vega was on her knees at Vance's feet. Her rebel uniform was torn and soaked in dark blood, her hands locked in heavy, glowing silver restraints that burned into her skin. Her face was battered, one eye swollen shut, but her remaining eye was wide with an agonizing, desperate guilt as she stared into the camera. Director Vance reached down, calmly wrapping his fingers into Nora’s blood-matted hair and violently pulling her head back to expose her throat to the lens.

“Drive. Take us to Orion’s pack.” The driver paused, then obeyed. Nora turned her head sharply. “Alpha Orion?” “Which is why I asked you to keep my movements a secret from Zarek,” I replied. “This is the last thing he should know about.” Nora didn’t blink. “I’ve been waiting to see Orion my entire life.” I turned fully toward her. “So Orion was the one Zarek saved you from?” She looked out the window. “It’s obvious now.”
