Joker whispered, coming into the room. “Yeah?” Kane asked, frowning at the concerned look on his face. “You’re in charge…” Joker whispered. “What?!” Kane demanded, shocked almost speechless.

It's too dark to notice. "Hurry up man, she's waking up." I flailed my arms frantically, amazed as a pair of female hands grabbed them and pinned them down. The fabric of my shirt was torn and my chest was suddenly naked. The man above me quickly sucked my breasts into his mouth, scratching me with his stubble. His other hand tugged at my skirt, trying to push it up. I thrashed wildly, but he got between my legs, his bare chest pressed against mine. “Don't be shy, baby, I know what you are. You're a whore, aren't you?" And then he let out a shrill laugh that revealed his identity – the Joker.

“Do not attempt to know my character old man, if you can not see I am willing to help. Then fine. But when you walk out here I will use a percent of the power you know I have to throw you into a cell and make sure you never see the light of day again.” “Is that a threat?” Both were matching the others ferocious gaze. Like two tigers waiting to pounce on each other. “Believe me. You would know when I am threatening you.” He had a good side to him but equally a bad side that seemed to jump out anytime he felt backed into a corner, like a defense. The only difference between him and Mr Nightingale was he didn’t seem scared of anything. The weeks I’ve endured, nothing could unveil to me anything

It was too dark for me to see and Gideon, my wolf, was curled up in a corner of my mind too depressed to react. When I spoke my voice was calm and threatening. "Turn around and keep your hands where I can easily rip them out. And if you wake my brother, you are going to wish for death and it will come but not soon enough" my voice was firm and devoid of any kind of decipherable emotions "Uhh! I am so scared and I am shaking right this moment" The voice said sarcastically "Jack!" I murmured and switched on the light to find Lee Tornado-Jack holding a bottle of scotch.

“I know.” “But differently.” “Yes.” His thumb brushed along my jaw. “You weren’t afraid.” I met his gaze. “I was.” His brows drew together slightly. “I’m not fearless, Jaron. I’m deliberate.” He searched my face like he always did when he thought I was withholding. “What scares you?” he asked. I didn’t look away. “Losing the part of you that laughs in this room,” I said honestly. “Not the Alpha. You.” The vulnerability in his expression was brief—but real.

James admitted. His bold admission actually created a wave of fear among the warriors present there. If that crazy man could actually scare a powerful Alpha, then he is dangerous. The Blue Moon pack Warriors already know about the stalker, but this is the first time they were introduced to fear. They all saw the body of a dead woman, which is unrecognisable. Some of them gagged and a few puked. Most of them are disturbed by that sight. But all of them are scared. Carter will look at the pictures after going back to his pack. He needs to look at them closely and on a bigger screen so that he could not miss any details.

The thugs laughed out loud right then, though their smiles stiffened when they saw a blur shooting out of the shack, seizing the joker by the neck and lifting him into the air! "Who the fuck are you?! Mind your own business!" one of the thugs snapped as he threw a punch at the blur, since they had numbers on their side! Bang! Nonetheless, he was sent flying and slamming on the wall the next instant, leaving everyone dumbstruck for a moment. They all scattered and ran without hesitation right then—that was beyond scary! Meanwhile, the joker whom Frank was still holding cried, "Please, friend! We're just following orders… Can't we all just talk about this?"

“Okay, okay! Bad joke! Terrible joke!” “You think?” I shouted. “I was terrified! I thought you were gone! I thought—” I stopped, throat closing. “Don’t ever do that again.” The laughter faded from his eyes. He sat up fully, water dripping from his hair, expression sobering. “I’m sorry,” he said quietly. No smirk. No tease. Just raw sincerity. “I didn’t mean to scare you. I swear on the Moon Goddess—I won’t pull that shit again.” I looked away, chest still heaving. The cave smelled of wet stone and moss and fear—my fear. I hated how much space it took up inside me.

JR asked, his voice cold as ice. “I came because I was an asshole and I’m sorry.” Soren stepped forward, but JR didn’t move aside to let him in. “The things I said… I was scared, and without thinking clearly, I lashed out. You didn’t deserve that.” JR crossed his arms. “You think I don’t know you’re scared? I’ve been scared since the night I made you mine in that locker room.” He let out a bitter laugh. “But I still showed up, every single damn time. Even when it risked my own reputation.”

But for the fact that he had allowed his uncle corrupt his mind made me even more scared about him. he had jokenly told me about himself that is so wicked and never forgives. that was really scary to hear at the same time, good because it gave me the courage to run. just when I thought he had changed or probably was thinking to be a better person, he lashed me with me with that one. he and his uncle were one and there was nothing that would separate their behaviour. "All men fears me, I am god. I don't do normal things" every body literally fears him.
