Curse of the Hallow Moon

Curse of the Hallow Moon

George was on a new project that extended his commute by an extra hour, and the kids had no break in sight for the next few weeks. For a moment, she hesitated but agreed that the house was where she wanted to be. Hands shook, and we went our separate ways, emailing for the next few days as each day painted a grim picture of terror, horror, and absolute insanity. The hag wasn’t just some hag, but a creature with many forms depending on the region and its own depravity. Blake’s research had pinpointed a massive amount of information on the monster. In my own ancestral culture, we called it ‘El Cuco’; for those in Nepal, Gurumapa was its name. In the United States, most often it would be called

Bloodbound: Heart Of The Witch

Bloodbound: Heart Of The Witch

This shadow, this darkness with fangs, it had the power to stipulate how they dreamed and that made him crazy with need to blow the creature’s head off. “This is a local legend about nightmares, a satanic sorcerer, and black magic. It is titled as Shadows and Blood, and is 50 years old. Folklore, through songs and words and this guy had recorded it down, a little and a lot of his own story.” She looked at the book, biting her lips, forehead crinkling in concentration. “Sound gory and ancient and I have never heard of this.” Art said as he struggled to open his tired eyes. It burned from the lack of sleep. Aurora looked tired as well, but she was dogged to finish the book, to find anything mo

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Pack

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Pack

The ones in Scotland are said to be the link between this world and the fake one, though no one I know has ever seen them in real life. Even the academy textbooks are dubious about their existence. According to ancient folklore, anyone who gazes into the eyes of a fae turns to stone. Although they are unearthly beautiful, fae are also incredibly terrifying. More so than demons. Or haunted cities. At the bottom of the winding pathway, we cross a cobbled road and emerge into a square surrounded by pubs and restaurants. The area is bustling with people, especially for a Friday night. “This is where they used to hang witches back in the day,” Caleb says without looking up, his focus on the devic

The Alpha's dragon Flame

The Alpha's dragon Flame

Everyone was too drunk or too annoyed to continue. Dylan started feeding the fire, and Freya launched into the scariest story she knew. "My grandma told me that back in the old world," Freya whispered, leaning in, "witches never feared ghosts or demons. We feared what you couldn't banish with a spell. And the one thing that was truly unbanishable was the Shadow Scale." My ears instantly pricked up. "It’s a local legend here, too," Easton interjected, looking slightly too interested. "They say it lives deep in the caldera, untouched by time. A massive creature. A dragon, essentially."

The wolf Academy: The Alphas forbidden mate

Malrik Alderfang "Stop" I ordered, I wanted to tell her not to think too much especially about things she fears the most or desire the most, the Ebonpine forest is alive, and cursed, they are all kind of evil spirits and Ghosts here, and this forest will read your mind and see what you are thinking. And if it finds out your greatest fear, you might not be able to leave the forest alive, cause it will make you see what you fear and will allow your fear to chase you, it's all a imagination, but before you realize that, it might be to late.

MARKED BY BLOODLINE

MARKED BY BLOODLINE

Why did he look at her as if he were starving? The candle on her bedside table flickered, even though there was no breeze. Her skin erupted in goosebumps. She didn’t believe in ghost stories, not really. But she knew danger. And Lucien was the definition of it. She had grown up hearing stories of the Ravagers—ancient beings who fed on more than blood. Their touch burned. Their presence altered fate. But those were myths. Warnings. Fairy tales meant to keep girls from wandering too far from the village. Right?

The Binding

The Binding

“What do you mean Eirik?” He stepped closer, his presence overwhelming all of my senses. “There are things in this town—things most people don’t believe in. They're hidden in plain sight.” I swallowed hard, stuttering. “Lik–like what?” “Like the legends of this land,” he said quietly, gazing intensely. “Old stories about creatures that roam these woods.” “Creatures?” I scoffed, trying to hide my growing anxiety with humor. “What, like ghosts, ghouls and goblins? Those are just dumb stories, Eirik.” I laughed nervously.

The Alpha's Freakshow

The Alpha's Freakshow

I trip over a branch and fall. “We can not be the pack with The Ultima! Everyone will come in search of you, to use you as the weapon you are.” I look up at him with one eye. The ultima? Ultima’s are folklore that my great-grandma used to tell us about. The ghost stories of the wolf that came now and then to help replenish the werewolf community with the gift of recruiting humans to be wolves based on their skill sets. Well, until the last Ultima, that is.

Kajal Haripersad
Really loving this book, such a refreshingly different storyline. I jumped straight in without reading the synopsis and it turned out to be so different from my expectations. A well written peice of literature and the only thing I would suggest is taking a little more time to structure the chapters
Jamie
I enjoyed this book but I felt the issue with his brother was left unresolved...not sure if that's going to be a separate book or not. abe was supposed to have a meeting with Wade but we didn't find out what happened. I will continue reading the wonderful books written by this author

Ebony's Pack: Fated to the Ranger Wolves

She knew she’s told him about the suppression spell having just been removed. “This creature reminds me a lot of some of the native tales about horrors in the woods. I always thought they were told to keep the white man away. Now, however, I’m wondering how many people died during pioneer times because they didn’t listen to the warnings of the native folk.” Franco was flipping through a printout from Ebony’s mother about the wight.

Alpha Fenriz

Alpha Fenriz

I wonder if my sisters know this; I doubt they would tell me their husband’s secrets, not that it’s any of my business knowing anyway. Fenriz chuckles. “Yeah, apparently, they merge just before the parade starts. Also, I noticed that they’re quite good at hiding their scents like another little fox I know,” he teases with a grin, referring to when I hid under his desk and pleasured him. “I guess this holiday worked out for me ally-wise as well. I wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of a demonic horde.” I’ve heard the folklore tale of the Night Parade of A Hundred Demons, which child hasn’t heard of this before, but to find out that Nurarihyon actually exists is a wild thought! I wonder wha

I usually rate books at the end of reading them but I already know I will love this one by the end. Every time J Tarr puts up a new book I say, this one is my new favorite and she has done it again! I am loving the main characters far more than I expected and find myself craving updates like crack!
Pam Marte
This book did not disappoint! It had a bit of everything so it kept me at the edge of my seat. The passion, the pain, the drama and love were all superbly executed. I only wish to know what book comes after Creed???? I have read all before it and want to keep reading in the correct order(spinoffs).
