As the private elevator to the basement opened, there stood someone near a sleek, black Bugatti. His brown hair was styled perfectly, each strand in place. But he had a cold face and a calm kind of confidence that made it impossible to ignore him. He looked like the kind of guy who could cause total confusion in the midst of girls just by walking in. “Hello, Mr. Scarlet.” He shook hands with Elena’s dad.

Laylin softly breathed out a sigh at his flaring temper. She closed her eyes in silent, her heart drumming in her chest. “Scarlet was the daughter of a Rakhbar Princess and Sansy so it made her the perfect medium: the blood of both, Red Witch and White Wolf. I still don't think Caleb has clocked on to who I am, that it was me that he saw down by the canal that night they were together. Standing in the doorway, bathed in harsh light, I couldn't look away from the betrayal unfolding in front of me. Leila pulled away, her eyes meeting mine with a calculating stare that sent shivers down my spine. Lucas came toward the cave and after arriving at the cave, the other members of the Apocalyptic Legion arrived outside of the cave as well. Hence, they all went in together. In no time, Lucas and the Apocalyptic Legion came to the side of Scarlet. “Master, this is the Rank 7 Celestial Honorable Ranked Female Zombies. Scarlett steeled herself, ready to confront this formidable adversary. "You have come far, young Guardian," Draven sneered, his voice dripping with venom. "But your journey ends here. My powers are meant to protect and bring light, not to serve darkness." Draven chuckled, the sound echoing through the chamber. "You underestimate my powers, Scarlett. I have studied ancient and forbidden arts for centuries. You are no match for me."
