I asked, turning to look at Nika one more time. She nodded, but it was more of a shrug and a sigh. “We have already come this far. I have to see the end.” I nodded, adjusting my hair again. I couldn’t afford to not look pretty when Draco was going to be looking at me. The three of us seemed like the last to get to the pack square. I could feel Alpha Draco’s eyes on me. He seemed to narrow his eyes, and Scarlett leaned in whispering something to him as well. She was making a huge mistake if she was doing the one thing I thought she was doing.

Alexander smiled chillingly: "Of course I mean giving Sarah's heart back to her. She's the rightful owner." Scarlett tried to appear calm: "Al-alright, after I get another heart, I'll return it to her." But Alexander pulled out a surgical knife, shaking his head: "No. I need to find Sarah now, and I can't bear to let her wait. Not even for a second." The karma she had created finally came back to her. Scarlett tried to run but Alexander severed her tendons. "Be good, Scarlett. Don't you care about me? Then help me get Sarah back."
