She sucked in a breath to scream. “No sudden movements, Saber doesn’t like that.” The Scythian stroked the wild creature behind the ear. Lizzy sized up the cheetah staring her dead in the eye. Copper orbs glistened—unblinking. Sooty tear tracks matched the moist black nose, twitching as it sized her up. The large cat lowered its head and snuffled at her wrapped hand. “Saber, no. You’ve already eaten. Miss Steyn is off-limits…for now.”

“You're not gonna let me leave, are you? Please! I beg you! Whatever you want, I will give it to you! I do not really care. Just… take whatever you want…" His laughter rings out through the room as he keeps on approaching her slowly; tactfully; menacingly. What scares Noelle the most about the entire situation, is the fact that this lean and elegant cat man does not underestimate in the least. He does not look at her like she is damsel in distress who is unable to fight or help herself in the least. He looks at her like she is a wild animal who will rip him apart and tear him to shreds if given the slightest chance.

I smacked my head again. I don't even remember the last time I thought of Snow. But cats fascinate me. Especially their eyes. They're scary when fierce and really adorable when calm. And many people would say it's the same for other animals, like dogs. I disagree. Dogs look cute whether angry or calm. It's when you look at the teeth and other features that they become scary as hell.
