Haunted

Haunted

” “Well,my mother was a very sensitive woman Beth. She firmly believed the manor had its own presence and she felt it in a way.” “Like a spiritual presence?” “I guess you could call it that.I remember her telling me that on her wedding night, she heard footsteps going up and down the hallway past her bedroom door.My father was sleeping soundly and so she decided to check who it was…as it turned out it wasn't so much a ‘who’ but a ‘what’…” Beth shivered, remembering her vision of the casket and the little girl giving her that ominous warning. So Polly too had had a freaky supernatural experience, because that was definitely where this story was leading.

“You should ask Amy. All I know is that we need to perform three cleansings over three days on you and your friend, in order to rid you guys of all your parasites without leaving an open wound. Then, you can come into the Manor, and we can perform the ritual to unchain Ku— the shadow.” He narrowed his eyes. “You had a name for it.” “I call him Kujo.” He tried not to laugh and failed. “Oh, right! Like Stephen King’s novel Cujo!” “Well, he’s big and angry and dangerous like a rabid Saint Bernard, right?” “Right!” He laughed heartedly a moment longer. “Sorry. You’re just full of surprises, young lady.” “Go figure, old man.” He elbowed me, laughing out loud again. When he calmed down, he took an

BLOOD MOON:Wolf Pack Trilogy

BLOOD MOON:Wolf Pack Trilogy

While I mentally linked the pack warriors to guide the horseman away from the pack and onto the plains in the eastern borders, he and Alexa trailed me. I didn’t want the horseman’s rage to cause any injuries to anyone. As we hurried to join the others, Alexa remarked, “The horseman should have the remains of his severed head with him; that’s his weakness and a way we can kill it. For the second time.” Our pack warriors were already assembled in the woodland when we got there, killing the headless horseman in their wolf forms. He was pulling on the reins of his corpse while saddled atop it like a horse. He used a whip that was actually a spine to assault. This is enough nonsense, let’s move

Escaping with the Alpha

Escaping with the Alpha

We crossed an open field, and all three of us froze immediately, our feet rooted to the ground and unwilling to move. Up ahead, lit by the moonlight, was a horse. Its rider was perched atop it… without a head. No, wait. He had a head, but he was holding it in his hand. Chills rushed through my whole body. I’d heard of these headless riders before. I’d even seen a movie or two about them. It was never a good sign. “Run!” screamed Allie. She sounded terrified as she turned and ran in the opposite direction.

A fun-light hearted story with the glitz of magic and spook of relationships. This story felt pocket sized, with no ego and great grammar and sentence structure. My only request is a touch of diversity, to make it more relatable to more people. A lovely weekend escape, fun from beginning to end!

Anything For You

Anything For You

A chill ran through his spine scaring him to his wits. “HOW DARE YOU TO QUESTION THE LORD??” The heavy voice landed in those two vampires ears, the horse-rider scared and the accomplice shaking like a dead leaf. They both knew who this person was and how this man was going to regret them both; the former for even listening to something rubbish the later said.

The Ascension

The Ascension

Even the young man in the black jacket was badly startled… because what they saw was a never-ending carpet of bones and skeletons, all seemingly from humans! "My god!" "H-human skulls? Dearest heaven! It's really h-human skulls! Human skeletons!!!" "W-where are we! I d-don't like this p-place! M-mooommmmmyyyyy!" Everyone felt like their hearts jumped out of their throats. Fear reigned upon them as many even knelt on the spot and made a fuss. The young man also felt cold sweat trickling down his back. His gaze went to the werehorses neighing and laughing wantonly at the reaction of the stupid humans near them. One of the horse-headed creatures looked at him, laughingly taunted him with a cutt

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

Falling for my Fae Captor

Falling for my Fae Captor

The gray horse was lighter and more nimble, but he lacked the muscle power that Alastor had and was slower. Alastor was now even with the gray horse's flank. Fynn pulled his sword and slashed out. I clamped my eyes shut, not wanting to see how the stab landed. Something thumped along the path next to us, the sound getting quieter as we rode away. The man's body slumped over me, and when I looked up, I realized the corpse was missing its head.

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

The House Beneath the Blood Moon

A man jumped out, red-faced, panting. “Are you trying to die?!” I tilted my head. “I was admiring your… metal horse.” “It’s a Ford!” he yelled. So. Not a demon. A Ford. Wonderful. He kept shouting, which was irritating, so I walked toward him. His expression went from anger… to confusion… to terror. “W-wait—whoa, hey, man—” I touched his throat. He died with a sound like a candle being snuffed. His memories spilled into me:
