The scar-faced lady seemed to be a little less or above twenty-two, while the older lady seemed to be in her early fifties. I was twenty-five.

I asked with my head held up straight, I had to make no room for them to see me as weak and scared, the strange lady simply smirks at my questions before stretching her hand toward me, and this time I accepted it. “ It is Paige,” She responds as we shake hands, she had a sinister smile on her face which gave me the chills, but I could not let her notice that. “ You seemed to have already settled amid werewolves,” the strange-looking lady mutters with a smirk on her face. “ Is there something or someone I should be scared of?” I questioned without fear, how dare she say such words, “ Oh, not at all, I simply just want to strike up a conversation,”

She laughs and traces her fingers on his suit " a particular someone told me you will be here waiting or looking for someone to satisfy your urges " " And that someone will be me " Scarlett said walking towards them . The lady steps back in fear , the look on Scarlett face was enough to send her running. " I -i thought he was drunk " Scarlett smirks and steps between her and Liam " why should he be drunk , someone sent you too right ? The lady walked in slowly, wearing a long sleeve pushed carelessly up her arm, revealing the tattoo: a thin black needle threading through the skin, beneath it the scar. “You don't scream,” the woman's voice hissed. “Screaming makes it worse.” Ariel had tried not to, biting down so hard she tasted her own blood. Still the fear slipped out of her in every breath she took, her body trembling violently and the chair rattled beneath her. Everything seemed to move faster and then she saw flashes, her hands were gripped tightly. The echoes of men laughing and the cold gaze of the lady never left her face, burning her chest and skin.

I wait until she is away from the door and quietly move behind her. "I told you to leave" I say, clearly scaring her as she jumps at the sudden noise. she stares wide eyed as my vampire side has come out fully. " why didn't you leave?" I ask her getting angry that she's so damn stubborn. I step toward her "what is your name?" I ask her "T, Tansia" she stutters as I keep getting closer, her name is amazing, everything about her is so breathtaking, so much so that when I step right up to her I can't control the primal urges anymore.

Enraged, she picked up a shard and slashed it across the mark on my face. A searing pain spread from my cheek. My skin swelled, thin streaks of blood seeping out.
