The shadows that had once whispered their secrets grew darker and louder, drowning my thoughts in dread. "Luca!" I shouted, my voice swallowed by the chaos of the ship's death rattle. I scrambled, adrenaline surging through my veins as I struggled against the falling remnants of my surroundings. I couldn't let the darkness take me. I had to get out.
