At port one night, heard of the ghost ship along with some other things. Captain Shane Reynolds once was the most feared pirate on the seven seas and most days, he still was. However, there was another pirate whose name was more feared than his own and he vowed to hunt him down. Problem was, no one has ever lived to tell the tale of Captain Reddick of the White Wolf. A few letters had been found telling of a deserted ship. The only life on board is a woman chained and blindfolded in the captain’s cabin. I sprang to my feet in shock, my mind blurring from a hunch. My god! The entire ship was covered in corrupted Yiki, every inch of it going berserk in its search for human hosts. And every human on the ship was their target.

The steel hull buckled outward, fire blooming from the engine room. The white wolf reached the deck. He didn't bite. He didn't claw. He just stood there. Every light on the ship turned violet. Every electronic lock snapped open. Every weapon system turned inward, aiming at the decks below. "Help them," I managed to choke out. "Help who?" Dante looked at me. "The people who came to hang us? Or the monster you spent a year tucking into bed?" The ship began to tilt. Screams drifted across the water, cut short by the roar of fire and the sound of rending metal.

"Elara, if your friends aren't here..." "They’re here," she whispered, looking at a small, pulsing light on her own modified watch. "Drop the anchor. Kill the lights. We have to go completely cold." They sat in the pitch-black silence of the North Atlantic. The only sound was the water slapping against the hull and the heavy, terrified breathing of the four of them. Suddenly, a massive shape rose from the depths—not a submarine, but a gargantuan, rust-stained hull of a ship that seemed to materialize out of the fog. It had no lights, no flags. It was a ghost ship of the modern age.

They turned around and looked at Soheila and Theodore, wondering what ship was destroyed. “Huh? Are you talking about the ship that we used? It was destroyed?” Sirene confusedly asked. The ship that they used was the only one that she had seen so far and it is huge. So, she knew it will be hard to be destroyed in just a few hours. All of them stopped walking and waited for Soheila to answer. Soheila had already calmed down from shock. She clicked her tongue and at the same time, she snapped her fingers.

Marina then looked in the same direction and she also saw the silhouette on the water, making her confused. “Are they lost?” Marina asked, but Charlotte stayed silent. The pirate girl squinted her eyes trying to focus on the silhouette’s details, and after a few seconds she could identify some of them: the silhouette was a ship, apparently a merchant one, and on its deck, it seemed like there was the whole crew. Charlotte kept looking at the ship and she did not notice anything weird on it; nevertheless, when she spotted the flag waving on the mainmast, she immediately knew she and her friends were in terrible danger. “We have to go,” Charlotte said while turning around to get back to the sh
