“Well, you know damn sure it is,” she groans.
I stare at her, cold dread sweeping through me.
“No,” I say firmly, shaking my head. “We’re not doing this. We are not going to let him win before he even does anything.”
Mira watches me carefully.
“The stalker thrives on fear,” I grit through clenched teeth. “If he sees that we’re scared, he’ll keep playing with us. Keep dangling that video over our heads.”
