All of them old, covered in dust. Then I saw something that made my blood freeze. Carlos's things. His leather gloves. A small knife he always carried. How did she get them? I moved deeper into the room. In the far corner, I found something that made me gasp. Dolls. Seven small dolls lined up on a shelf. They looked like real people. Like the guests who had stayed here. One doll had pins stuck all through its body. Another had its head cut off. A third had its arms and legs torn away. The others were damaged in different terrible ways.

RACHEL'S POV As I sat in the back seat, the weight of the day pressing down on me, I gazed out of the window, trying to clear my mind. The streetlights flickered past, casting eerie shadows that danced across the interior of the car. Suddenly, something caught my eye—a doll lying by the side of the road. My heart raced as I recognized the doll. It was my doll. The doll in my room. It was terrifying, with cracked porcelain skin and a bloodstain smeared across its back. A shiver ran down my spine, and I gasped, my instincts screaming that something was very wrong.

Lance whispered. "I'll haunt you if we die here." I huffed, he just laughed. "Boo!" Someone said while grabbing my arm. I screamed. "It's one thing to watch it and another to be in it. I want to leave." I sighed. "One more door and we will leave." We went to this hallway that was really creepy. How long has this house been abandoned? We entered a bedroom and it looked extremely creepy. Dolls everywhere. And they were porcelain ones. I hate those. Remind me of Chucky. We turned away and just as we were about to leave someone said.

We decided to step into one of the shops, a bell tinkling as we entered. The interior was cramped and dusty, filled to the brim with all manner of strange objects. Dolls with eerily lifelike eyes stared at us from shelves, while jars of wet specimens lined the walls. “Creepy,” I muttered, picking up a small figurine that seemed to be made of bones. Chris nodded, examining a collection of ‘cursed’ amulets. “Yeah, but kind of fascinating too, don’t you think?”
