Some students were disappointed, while others were excited and even wished the class would end without a lesson. Hayle excitedly came to the front of the class. "Attention, please!" Everyone was suddenly silent and focused on Hayle. "So, I have something unique that I want to show you." Hayle took out a cassette tape, "I have this!" The students laughed and looked strangely at Hayle, except for one person. Tony. The nerdy student who rarely spoke. He looked at the cassette in Hayle's hand with a shocking face. "This cassette has a song called "Terrifying" which was released in 1982. Well, it sounds weird. Let's play it!"

“Fine, we’ll let Hellfire tell us a ghost story.” “I don’t know any ghost stories,” I say. “What about you, Siren?” Venom asks her. “Nope.” “Well, then, it’s time the two of you become good at making up stories,” Intrigue says. For the next couple of hours, while Hacker and Sphinx work in the van, the rest of us make up ghost stories. I have to admit, Raptor is really good at making up scary stories and Intrigue is as well. Megan’s aren’t terrible, but Venom’s are, as they said, pretty stupid. I’m not sure mine are any better, but I made up one about the ghost that lives in the river, and it made everyone glance at the river we’re sleeping beside more than once.

The group gathered around it, sharing what little food they had while the wolves kept watch on the perimeter. As the firelight flickered, and the forest grew darker, someone from the pack—an older wolf named Ragnor—stood and cleared his throat, a mischievous glint in his eye. “It’s a good night for stories, isn’t it?” he said with a grin. “Who wants to hear something scary?” There were murmurs of interest, and Ragnor began.

The only scary I've known came in a 6 foot three package that promised only goodness in a fancy car. I unwrapped it like the hard-up eager naïve teenager I was. And it turned out to be a big fucking Monster that didn't just give me bad dreams but live fucking nightmares that still haunts me years after, wherever I go, reminding me that demons always come in the most appealing of packages. “If you gotta choose a name what will it be?” Killer asks, unaffected by the audience and my obvious inner battle I have going on inside me. My eyes snap off the older man walking closer to us and to Killer’s blue all-knowing gaze.

As the stories got scarier, I noticed a few of the younger pack members huddling closer to their parents, seeking comfort and reassurance. Soon, it was my turn to share a story. Feeling the weight of the moment, I cleared my throat and began my tale. "In a small village, there was a haunted mansion. It was said that the spirit of a vengeful witch roamed the halls, seeking revenge on anyone who dared to enter her domain..." I let my imagination run wild, conjuring spine-chilling scenes and mysterious characters. The pack leaned in closer, their eyes wide with fascination, hanging onto every word I spoke. The suspenseful atmosphere made my heart race with excitement.
