The door closed but two minutes later a guy in a hoodie was knocking at the door. The guy glanced up at the camera once and smirked as Gabriel zoomed in. The guy had a tattoo of a cross on his cheek and he was none other than Apollo. Just as the door opened, two other guys came out of nowhere and the three of them barged into the room. Gabriel fast-forwarded the video and then the door opened and Apollo stepped out carrying barely conscious Sasha in his arms. "They must've injected wolfsbane in her," Gabriel said and a second later two other guys appeared holding the sluggish body of Joshua, the front of his shirt was fully open and then they disappeared from the screen.

He gently caressed her cheek with his palm and she swatted him away like an annoying fly still glaring waiting for his answer. "A demon Ally and next to Lucifer you’re THE demon. The scent of her burning flesh registered as white noise in her mind. The air cracked and popped with energy; the effects felt by all. More men possessed by the shadows streaked towards her, mowing down her allies, who sought to keep her protected. She saw Xavier go down, his body unmoving when it hit the concrete. More tears flowed; her anger built like a tsunami rising inside of her.

I screamed in horror as I got up to save him from the infected but Lorenzo already dived at it and after two successful shots, the infected stopped moving and Lorenzo got up smiling. My sight went straight to his hand and i saw he has a missing big chunk of flesh. I rushed over to Austin and saw the angry red bite on his shoulder, that was when I started hearing the bursts of sniper rifles shooting from the roof. "Let's get the he outta here" Smith said as he shot an infected and grabbed the rope climbing it up to the chopper. I told Austin to go next which he managed to do with his wounded shoulder, I know he's not gonna make, the thought of this sent shivers down my spine.

I huffed, and could see his eyes flicker in shock, but he had no power to decline as he was being controlled by my dark magic spell. Right there, he pierced his sharp wolf claws into his chest, howling in extreme pain as he tore open his chest, reaching out to his heart, but couldn't go further before falling dead instantly. "Clean this place!" I ordered with a wave of my hand and the slaves ran in with their cleaning materials. My name is Xavier, and I am the Alpha of the Red Moon Pack, the greatest pack of all. No one dares me because it would cost their entire pack. My pack was above every other pack in America because I was their leader, but I'm getting old by the day.

They were still there, but in the form of thin lines that had yet to heal at the centre. “How?” I asked him in surprise, my eyes as wide as saucers. “How what?” Axton frowned. “Your wounds…they’re almost healed!” I pointed out. “They weren’t supposed to heal so fast! Mitch staggered, and his back went flying into the smashed car. The naked man went down on all fours. Mitch was watching in awe. He had red hair, piercing, cold green eyes, and he had a scar on his face, starting under his left eye and ended right above his top lip. The cracking of bones permeated the quiet atmosphere as the man started to transform. “Mitch, we need to transform, we won't stand a chance against him in human form.” Gus said and Mitch took a deep breath, then his bones started to crack too. “That's it. When you’re stronger.” Scott gave a faint, grim nod. “But at least… it’s over?”

That was also why our security was the best in the whole city. I only found out in my last life that, after the world was hit by the deadly heatwave, a lot of desperate people showed up. In the apocalypse, humanity meant little. Everyone answered only to themselves. But our community was the only one that never got attacked by any looters, all thanks to the top-notch security forces here. It stayed safe until the scientists finally managed to build weather bombs strong enough to fight off the deadly heat, and the heatwave finally ended. Everyone in our community survived.
