AIDEN 2.3 - The Robot's Heartbeat

AIDEN 2.3 - The Robot's Heartbeat

3's room. We'll talk about it at the main laboratory. As we were getting closer to Aiden 2.3 whose humanoid robot body was hiding somewhere else in this room the more I feel the pins and needles inside my chest. I am nervous like hell and sweating like falls. "It's time to activate Aiden 2.3." and there my heart almost skipped a beat after hearing the purpose why we're here.

My Mate Rejected Me For His Girlfriend

My Mate Rejected Me For His Girlfriend

The faction personnel turned in surprise, some reaching for weapons while others frantically worked to stabilize their failing technology. At the center stood Dr. Whitcomb, her face, a mask of cold fury as she recognized me among the truth-seers. "Subject 23-A," she said, her voice carrying even over the alarms. "How disappointing to see what you've become. You were designed for so much more than... balance."

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

Status: Active. Subject B (The Mind): Olivia [Redacted]. Status: Active. Subject C (The Shadow): [DATA CORRUPTED]. Status: ESCAPED. "Subject C?" Jack whispered. "There was a third one?" Catherine looked at the screen, her face pale. "Escaped? When?" The log scrolled to the bottom. Location of Subject C: Unknown. Warning: Subject C carries the instability marker. Do not engage. Jack tried to stand up, but his legs failed him. The victory of restarting the power felt hollow. They had just turned the lights on, only to reveal that there was another monster in the room with them. Or rather, out there in the dark.

The Reaper's Harem: My Monster Mates

He looks back at me with eyes full of panic. "Go on, Darling," I say. "Just touch it." He places a pale, trembling hand on the crystal. The pillar glows a soft pink, then shifts to a vibrant, verdant green. A robotic voice booms through the entire facility: [AWAKENING CONFIRMED. SUBJECT: ARLO NAPKI. RESULT: 80% NARCISSUS (THE GOD OF VANITY). 20% ASCLEPIUS (THE GOD OF MEDICINE). ALIGNMENT: LAWFUL GOOD.]

Letters Between Hearts

Letters Between Hearts

Three figures entered. Human in appearance. Hospital uniforms. Doctor. Security officer. Orderly. The manner in which they moved dispelled any sense of normalcy. Perfectly synchronized. Eyes fixed forward. No wasted motion. No individuality. They all came to a standstill at the same distance from the threshold. The three individuals communicated in unison. “Subject Amina Reyes. Secondary entity transfer is required.”. Daniel stood immediately. “Over my dead body.”. The figures didn't react. Because threats required emotional context.

What did that even mean? “I have no idea what you're getting at,”she said to the young girl.”What are you speaking of?” “She has lived in the shadows for a long time, watching and waiting for you.” “You’re not making any sense,”Beth replied, agitation rising in her voice. “Have you not felt her Beth? Here in your home? She watches you, growing stronger every day,she wants your life and she will end it when she’s ready.” Now Beth was getting mad. Were hallucinations supposed to be this annoying?

Matthew replied, "Every information network in the facility can only be accessed by local channels here!" They finally reached a section of pods with a Label Y. They both looked up and saw the subject Y-23T2 still unconscious within. The same dark skin human-looking fiend who caused major chaos some days ago, laying on the other side of the barrier. Matthew dabbed on his watch. Several panels of information manifested in front of him, all with Yaksha's information on it. He also clicked on the button beside the pod until a woman's figure manifested in front of them. Her features and movement were too mechanical to be a human's.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.
