A warehouse? Panic set in. I struggled against my restraints, twisting, pulling, nothing budged. The chair beneath me creaked but held firm. Stay calm. Think. I took a shaky breath. And then I screamed. The sound echoed, bouncing off the empty walls. I screamed again, louder this time, until my throat burned. A slow clap came from the shadows. I froze. And then I saw her. Taylor. Stepping forward, her face half-lit by the weak bulb, her expression unreadable.

His minions instantly came after me but one by one, I beat them all as I was fueled by rage of the fact that Adele was pissed at him. “No matter what you do here, I will have you know that I will not sit down and watch you get Adele all by yourself. I will make sure I ruin her life in these last days at Wisconsin high school” Richie stated, cleaning the blood of his mouth. “Listen to me very well Richie; if I smell your scent even for a second close to Adele, I swear to God, I will ensure you do not see the light of another day and this time, I don’t care if I go to prison” I threatened and left the court.

I love this scent and before I know it, I’ve fallen asleep. When I wake, I hear the sound of the shower in Richie’s bathroom. I sniff the air and can smell the scent of blood and rogue, mingling with the scent of Richie’s shampoo and body wash. I hope that means that Richie got some information. When he comes out, he has a towel wrapped around his waist and he is drying his hair with another towel. I roll completely over so I can watch this gorgeous man. I lift myself up onto my elbow to get a better view. Everything about him is pure Alpha. My heart races as the piercing sound of a siren echoes through the air, announcing the arrival of the police. I force myself to lift my gaze to Richie, and despite the pain etched across his face, he manages a weak smile. He cups my face gently and whispers, "You see, Rach, this is better." Those words hang in the air, heavy with meaning, and then his body grows limp against mine, his eyes fluttering shut. I look down to see his back soaked in blood—his blood.

As soon as I entered his office, I saw him talking to someone while facing the window. “Yes Hunter, please check that also, thanks man I owe you for this," that's what I heard. The first thing I noticed was the luxury scent that smells good and I know it was him. His office is a combination of Grey and black colors that looks so manly, there were no other things aside from the black couch, his office table, and a painting. When he turned around and sighted my presence, the smirk did not go unnoticed. “So, what can I do for you, Ms. Car Scratcher?” he asked while looking at me intently.

She had to figure it out! Snapping out of her stupor, Sara immediately chased after Gerald. However, all she saw was the rear end of the Lamborghini pulling away from the front of the restaurant. Where were Gerald and that girl he was with? “Isn’t that a luxury sports car? Oh, god, finally! I see somebody driving that thing. ’ Richie's laughter echoed through the room, a cruel sound that sent a shiver down Valeria's spine. He watched her with amusement, his eyes alight with a twisted sense of satisfaction. Richie kept on chuckling darkly. “Oh, sweetheart, there is no need to play coy. The priest is ready and waiting, and you wouldn't want to keep him waiting, now would you? After all, there is no escape.”
